Easily the worst loss of the Matt Rhule era and many more are coming. This was a pathetic game. The Panthers had these guys dead to rights and gave up a horrible loss. I have no faith in this team after today. They are losers at heart. No grit against a team they clearly should beat. Downright pathetic.

Same old Panthers. Huge losing streak here we come.

Today is a horrible loss. The Panthers outplay their opponent, basically kill them in the first half, and lose the game. Against another very young team that made a bunch of mistakes. They got too high for their britches talking about making the playoffs. The truth is this is a bad team until proven otherwise. -

The adversity was always there. They struggled to win even against bad teams. I don’t see them winning more than 5-6 games this season. -
Well this garbage franchise has done what is does best again. Lose. Sam Darnold fails when the game is on the line. The defense chokes when the game is on the line. I’m sick of watching a bunch of losers. Obviously a big losing streak incoming. Just like every year.

Rhule/Fitterer thought this was a NFL caliber offensive line.

They think this is a playoff team LOL f*cking losers all over this roster. Pathetic loss. -
How bad is the third quarter going to be this week?

So dumb not going for it on 4th and 2.

Anyone else got a bad feeling about this Eagles game?
hepcat replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes, this is exactly what I mean. The Panthers beat two teams with a rookie QB and Jameis Winston who I wouldn’t consider a quality QB. The Cowboys beat the hell out of this defense with their run game, laying a blueprint for other teams. The only reason that Cowboys game didn’t appear to be a blowout is because Trevon Diggs left the game in the 4th quarter and Darnold threw the ball at whoever was covering guys in his spot, allowing the Panthers to claw back. Bottom line is, this Panthers team is really banged up and not as good as the roster that hit the field Week 1. The Eagles are going to be a tough out for an undermanned Panthers team. -
I can’t shake this bad feeling the Panthers are going to lose to the Eagles on Sunday. The Eagles haven’t exactly had an easy schedule except from playing the listless Falcons (which they won handily). The Eagles seem ready to put together a solid game again. Our GM is already talking about this team “planning on making the playoffs”, yet this team has accomplished literally nothing so far. It’s a bit early for any of that playoff talk in my honest opinion. I get the confident mentality, but it’s Week 5… I worry the Panthers run defense got exposed against the Cowboys. The defense is pretty banged up. With Horn and Burris on IR, and Shaq Thompson out, the Eagles can exploit the Panthers odd fronts like the Cowboys did. I see the Eagles getting their running game on track in this game. On offense the offensive line is decimated by injury and general lack of talent and skill. The Eagles still have Fletcher Cox and a lot of pass rushing talent. Darnold will be running for his life yet again. The advantages are the Panthers are at home, and Jalen Hurts is a young QB who will make a few bad throws. I expect the Eagles offense to turn the ball over. Can the Panthers capitalize and protect the football themselves? We will see, and I really hope my concerns are for nothing. Maybe the Eagles are way worse than I think they are. But I’ve got a bad feeling about this game given the injuries and complete decimation of the defense in the last game.

Cam Erving and Shaq Thompson are OUT. Christian McCaffrey is DOUBTFUL

Lol just a few days ago you were saying how much the eagles and all the teams on the panthers schedule were crap -
Sam really needs to stop boofing beers up his ass at halftime
-
My bold prediction is the D doesn’t look good for a second straight game. I think the run defense got exposed in the last game. The Eagles might not be able to exploit it as well as the Cowboys did but with Shaq out I think the Eagles put up points. Sam is going to have to win this game on his own. If he plays turnover free it’s a Panthers win.
-
He’s my friend
-
If Brady has a good game I think we have to start him until he sucks more than Erving
-
No Shaq on defense is a big loss. LB is extremely weak.

For f*cks sake this trade was such a great move. It’s not a win-now move it’s just a great grade. Gilmore is a low risk high reward rental for the rest of the season until Horn gets healthy. If he balls out, they can consider re-signing him. If he sucks or gets hurt, they still could get a 5th round comp for him which is HIGHER than the pick they traded for him. It’s win win win win all around.

God dam shrewd AF

at least we have a GM that makes moves that make sense

Stephon Gilmore is about to be released by the Patriots!
hepcat replied to jasonluckydog's topic in Carolina Panthers
Their top 3 corners are all injured. Sherman is old and Cockrell sucks. Gilmore would be a big improvement. -

Gilmore is going to Tampa Bay 100% guarantee it lock it in goodnight thread over -
Really just need him to fill in at LB until Shaq gets healthy
-
They are pretty much forced to put in a claim with Shaq out for a few games.

One thing the Panthers have a massive advantage over the Eagles - coaching. The Panthers coaching staff should be able to trick and out scheme the Eagles inexperienced staff in every facet of the game. McCarthy and Quinn are super experienced and kind of ran train on the Panthers college esque defense. I don’t expect the same from the no names on the Eagles staff.
