  1. I am firmly coming out against trading for Deshaun Watson. #1) The rumored price tags of multiple first round picks and quality starting players is ridiculous. Unless Watson has all charges dropped and the accusers recant their statements before the trade is completed, he’s not worth what the Texans want for him. Even under normal circumstances it’s a crazy price tag. #2) There’s a strong chance Watson ends up on the commissioner exempt list until the legal situation is resolved. So the Panthers would need to trade a lot of assets for a guy who has an unknown start date. #3) There is a huge amount of negative PR the Panthers will have to manage after trading for a QB accused of being a sexual predator. Regardless of how the legal situation pans out, Watson still had a lot of nasty allegations against him. Those allegations are out there in people’s memory now and fans won’t forget that quickly. #4) Let’s say the Panthers do trade for Watson, he gets through the legal troubles, and ends up the starting QB for the Panthers. Strictly as a player, why would he be a success on this team? The Panthers are poorly coached on offense and the players have given up. If the Giants game showed us anything, it’s that this team has a LOT more problems than just QB play, although that is a huge problem as well. All that said, a failed Deshaun Watson trade could set this team back by 5-7 years depending on the amount of assets they give up. Not having first round picks can have a negative impact many years into the future. I’m not in favor of this trade for many reasons and hope it doesn’t happen. I’d rather this team just rank and draft a QB next season with a rebuilt offensive line and new offensive coaching staff.
  2. I can only imagine what Tepper is thinking right now. Dude has egg all over his face real hard. But what can he do at this juncture of the season aside from trade for an accused sexual predator who might not even be eligible to play?
  3. The truth is Darnold was never good. He has to be one of the most overhyped QB prospects I’ve ever seen. He’s accomplished literally nothing in the NFL and wasn’t even that good in college. And to top it off, Joe Brady is another massive hype train that has no merit to it. Brady has just been around success, never actually achieved it himself. He needs to go back to being an assistant on a well established staff like maybe Alabama or going back to the Saints and learn his trade. What a horrible decision hiring someone so inexperienced.
  4. Sad thing is they could have done both even with Darnold on the roster. Start Darnold until he sucks, then play the rookie. Next week would be the time to roll out a 1st round rookie after prepping him all off-season. But here we are with NO OTHER OPTIONS. How STUPID do they have to be to think that rolling with a Jets reject QB as your only option was a recipe for success?
  5. Panthers fans know their team better than anyone else.
  6. Mac Jones would be terrible on this team. He’s on a well coached team with a decent offensive line. The Panthers have none of the things a young QB needs to succeed.
  7. Rhule might take a job back in college where he belongs. But watch Rhule come back to the NFL in like 10 years after building up LSU or something and becomes the next Belichick lol
  8. Can’t trade a kings ransom for a QB that probably won’t play we all know that
  9. That sucks you got banned. I consider myself a realist and never get too high or low. Bridgewater sadly was more competent than Darnold. Darnold has a ton of arm talent but he doesn’t appear quick enough in the brain to make throws. Bridgewater has the brain for the game but not the physical talent. Sad we have had two straight miserable seasons with broken loser QBs.
  10. I spent an entire off-season deriding them for not bringing in a second starting QB option. I knew Darnold would be a failure.
  11. Anyone remember when Scott Fitterer stood up at that press conference trading for Stephon Gilmore saying he “expects this team to make the playoffs”? I knew this season was over when that naive arrogance was spoken.
  12. Is Dan Henning still alive?
  13. There’s too many questions without answers on this team right now. The most concerning being the team gave up today, against a very bad team. I don’t see them winning another game this season.
  14. To be fair even a casual fan could see that there was a huge potential for failure having a reclamation project like Darnold as the only starting option. This was the worst possible outcome and here we are staring down a 3-14 season.
  15. I actually think it’s possible. NFL chewed him up and spit him out. Panthers might not win another game
  16. I said the same thing all off-season. Giving Darnold a shot wasn’t a bad idea. When they didn’t sign a veteran or draft another QB I knew it had the potential to be a miserable season.
  17. Nah give him the rest of the season so the next coaching staff can draft an NFL caliber QB in the top 5
  18. Lol! Good effort on zero info about me but sadly a fail.
  19. Such a fail not bringing in another option. Even a casual fan would know that bringing a reclamation project QB in means you should have a veteran or rookie waiting to take over if he fails.
  20. I think the problem is Tepper knows nothing about building a football team but he’s way too involved in the team dynamic
  21. Where did I say fight? I just want to see the faces of the losers who are trolling me. I would love to see your ugly, fat, seagrams sunburned face.
  22. Again, look around you. You think it’s a picture of positivity right now? I’m the only one complaining? And posting on a football forum about a hockey team is a real big contribution, I’m so proud of you.
  23. Yea, I’m the one that needs help. You need to take a look around or stop posting here. No one would miss you and your retarded username
