  1. Or if Dallas collapses. That’s his unicorn job
  2. At least Richardson's teams would have a winning season once every 2-3 years....Tepper has taken this franchise to the basement of the NFL and he's doing a great job of making everyone hate him with his unwarranted arrogant attitude.
  3. Does the stadium even need to host concerts? They've had some DISASTERS of events like that beer festival that was a total joke and they ran out of beer in like 20 minutes. How many concerts can even draw 70k people? The Spectrum Center hosts better concerts than the stadium would. Hell the whitewater center hosted some great concerts. He's taking credit for something that doesn't matter and no one asked for.
  4. Turned out to be spot on. Tepper doesn't like how available information is these days.
  5. There's lots of great music venues that Charlotte has had over the years. There was always music. I came up in the Charlotte music scene and the fact he bothered to even mention that as one of his "successes" shows how truly deranged that man is. I hope he sells the team. The city of Charlotte and the Carolinas at large have rejected him like a bad organ transplant and it's time for him to go. I can't stand how arrogant and foolish he is. He talks down to people despite the fact he's done literally nothing but be a huge source of failure.
  6. lol thanks for bringing that up, he literally said that Charlotte didn't have music before he brought it to the city
  7. while I agree with that specific instance, he's been an atrocious penalty machine all season aside from that
  8. CJ Henderson is absolutely god awful....gave up a 3rd round pick for him.
  9. You speculated a lot, but some of this might be true. The media was vicious with him and for good reason.
  10. I disagree. He's so confrontational. This was not the right type of person to own a team in the city of Charlotte or in the Carolinas.
  11. Lol no he wasn’t. Tepper wrote the checks Rhule cashed and had to pay him out the rest of that ridiculous contract he gave him. Fitterer didn’t have anything to do with it
  12. Some names to add: Byron Leftwich - Bucs OC Thomas Brown - Rams assistant head coach Kellen Moore - Cowboys OC
  13. https://www.wcnc.com/article/sports/nfl/panthers/carolina-panthers-hypothetical-betting-odds-2023-head-coach-if-matt-rhule-gets-fired/275-a16540cb-2cf8-47d6-a055-6d072480c156 Payton is already the Vegas odds favorite to be the next coach of the Panthers. I have no doubt that Tepper is ready to open up his wallet to hire a proven offensive coach to right the ship. Personally I'm against it because I don't think Payton has the same motivation to prove himself as he did early in his career with Brees. He'd just be an older has-been collecting a fat paycheck from a former division rival of his. I feel the same way about Dan Quinn. I'd like to see a younger, hungry coach from a good organization come in and build it up. Demeco Ryans should be a serious candidate. Ken Dorsey is probably too young and inexperienced, but I think he deserves an interview. There are still some good assistants on the Rams that could be worth interviewing as well. I hope Tepper takes this interview process more patiently than he did the last one. He didn't even get through interviewing all the candidates he had scheduled before he hired Matt Rhule. Kevin Stefanski and Josh McDaniels were scheduled to interview after they made an offer to Rhule in January 2020.
  14. There’s no downside to bringing him back. The offense is legitimately awful. Cam can at least put a couple TDs on the board a game usually. He’s better than any of the QBs on the roster, yet again.
  15. Baker hurt, Darnold hurt, Corral hurt, PJ the only healthy QB right now. Rhule gone, Cam coming back?
  16. Came here to post something similar. If this team was 4-1 and the team looked good, the fanbase would be excited, the stadium would be full of fans….it would be a whole different vibe. Unfortunately the Panthers are a miserable 23-47 since Tepper bought the team, and 11-27 under his handpicked head coach. No quicker way to kill an already fickle and fair weather fan base than a stubborn owner holding onto a wildly unqualified head coach for longer than he reasonably should.
  17. He put the logo at midfield and painted the end zones black? That's about all I got.
  18. I am, like everyone else here, ready for Matt Rhule to be fired. He should have been fired after last season's disastrous 7 game losing streak to finish the season. But alas, here we are with another disaster season incoming. I agree that it's not the right time to fire him. It's too early in the season and there's really not much to be gained from waiting until at least December. 80% of the staff are guys who are connected to Rhule in some way, so even if you fire Rhule, there's still a vast majority of the staff that are loyal to him. They obviously won't be cleaning house mid-season, so I'm not sure what's to be gained there. There needs to be at least a skeleton crew to coach on gameday. This season is going to finish ugly either way. I don't see how letting Steve Wilks or Ben McAdoo ride this ship into the depths of hell is any better than just letting the guy who got us here do it. The captain should go down with his ship. Next season I really hope the vibe around this team is different. Tepper has made some massive mistakes, and they seem to be compounding (Tepper should understand how that works). A highly drafted rookie QB with an NFL caliber coaching staff could really bring the fanbase back.
  19. Is not a question of “if” he will be fired this season, it’s “when”
