  1. It’s WAY more than he’s worth. It’s more than the Panthers traded for Sean freaking Gilbert. This franchise is retard level stupid for turning that down.
  2. Let’s all enjoy when the Panthers pay him $100m+ to watch him get obliterated by TEs and whiff on sacks. Could have had a kings ransom for him.
  3. 100% agree. It's the kind of move made by mediocre franchises committed to losing. Burns wasn't even close to worth what the Rams offered. I just can't believe the moves (or lack of moves) this team makes sometimes.
  4. I agree with not trading Moore for that much. He has a team friendly contract. Burns is a whole other story.
  5. He sucks against the run and hasn't even posted double digit sacks in a single season. That was a trade that could have righted the Sean Gilbert trade.
  6. 100% agree. As if the Darnold trade and subsequently picking up his $19m 5th year option to sit on the bench wasn’t enough of a reason.
  7. Depending on what they were offering I would have listened but considering the Packers struck out on all these deals it seems like they were being cheap asses
  8. Sounds like you think Tepper is the real GM and you are probably correct
  9. You’re also assuming David Tepper has even the slightest ability to construct a winning franchise which he has shown no inclination of being able to do…. Turning down the Burns package was a massive mistake and Rhule isn’t here.
  10. For now. If he turned down that package and the Rams stink in 2024 and 2025 we will regret that trade. He hasn’t done anything worth keeping him for IMO. But we will see how he does without Rhule making fathead decisions
  11. 100% agree. What a stupid decision. Primarily made because Burns is a short term puzzle piece for a GM who very likely won’t last long enough to use those draft picks. That was QB level compensation for a tweener DE who sucks against the run and hasn’t even posted double digit sacks in a full season. What a dumb franchise we root for.
  12. You forgot to add Clete Blakeman to the list of crooked refs I saw the Falcons game as an example of how overrated the defense is. Run defense is ATROCIOUS. Gross-Matos is garbage. They built the core of the defense outside of Brown to be small and fast. It’s a disaster to body up and defend the run. This team won’t win many more games with how bad the run defense is especially late in games.
  13. I’ll believe it when I see it. I like Wilks and hope he turns the team around, and I think he deserves a fair shot after this season. But Tepper is still the owner and the abject fool who is still going to be paying Rhule’s paycheck for the next 4 years. So I can’t say I have any faith in this franchise to do anything but lose.
  14. I expect a close game with the Panthers finding a way to lose at the end, per usual. We’re back to 2020 Panthers football. A semblance of competence but an innate ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
  15. And here I was thinking we were the team that was cursed
  16. maybe Darren Sproles is a better comparison. He will definitely make noise in the NFL.
  17. We will see what Texas is able to do against them. I do like Deuce Vaughn though and could be a good target for the Panthers in the 3rd or 4th round. Both RBs in the Texas/K-State game could be targets for the Panthers.
  18. Side note Deuce Vaughn is a CMC clone.
  19. Kansas State Wildcats use the Panthers growl sound when they get first downs. What a bunch of posers. They're not even Panthers.
  20. Fat Fool isn’t the coach anymore so that’s good
  21. What? Not true and also f*ck value charts. You snag a gamer in the first round and get that 5th year option that’s crucial
  22. You could be right and if that’s the case I’ll be out on the deal depending on what draft picks the Rams want. But if it’s Burns for 2 firsts and a 3rd or 4th in 2023, that’s insane for a tweezer pass rusher who disappears in the run game. This is why the Panthers can’t built a winner. That’s a ridiculous package.
  23. Honestly as Cam showed us, none of this sh*t matters as long as you have a franchise QB. He had garbage around him most of his career on the Panthers and managed to have an MVP season. His best receiver was a TE.
  24. What are the Panthers waiting for to trade Burns? 3 first rounders? If you get two firsts and a 2023 mid rounder it’s a no brainer to me, that’s way more than he’s worth
  25. You wanna know something scary? I bet the run defense improves after he leaves.
