Canes vs. Islanders Game 4 Sunday 1PM

This game is going the islanders way sadly. They want a chippy game. They want it to be physical. Hurricanes need to put another goal on the board and get the game back in their corner -

Yea how can they exist at the same time. It’s either a penalty or the guy flopped. -

He’s been the pick since Vegas closed the book on it. Can we move on now? Let’s talk about who he’s gonna throw the ball to now

Official Sound off like you got a pair Panthers Draft predictions thread
hepcat replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
With the first overall pick the Panthers announce they have invented the first fully functional Time Machine capable of sending someone back in time and bringing back younger versions of human beings to the present time. The sacrifice is the person who goes back in time must stay in the past as to not rupture the space time continuum for some reason that’s explained in the fine print and totally explains how you wouldn’t meet the younger version of yourself in the past. The Panthers announce using this technology that they have drafted 23 year old Peyton Manning from the past and everyone immediately forgets he started playing in the NFL 25 years ago and the history of the NFL is changed to a point that no one is able to remember the way it was in the other timeline. They use this technology to assemble a team of hall of fame level players from the past in their primes. Unfortunately the Time Machine causes a rip in the multiverse and a Cyberplex robot from the year 3651 is mistakenly sent to the year 2023. The robot splits earth into two halves that orbit each other around the sun that the robot has now encapsulated with an aluminum case to harvest the sun’s fusion energy. Humanity and all life on earth is destroyed in the process. With all the energy of the sun at the robot’s disposal and no comparable robots to compete with, the Cyberplex robot colonizes all the planets of the solar system and beyond, creating an army of vicious star harvesting robots that consume all energy in the galaxy. The universe is extinguished of all light and energy within 5 million years. With all energy and atomic processes halted, the fabric of the universe itself collapses inward which creates an inverse black hole that resets the mistaken multiverse timeline where the Cyberplex robot was mistakenly sent to the year 2023. The timeline is reset to just before the announcement of the Time Machine is made public where an Angel of Reason destroys the Time Machine and all memory of it for all eternity. With the natural order of time restored and Al things set right with the space time continuum, the Panthers select QB Bryce Young to mixed reactions from the fanbase. -

Corner is definitely in the conversation in the 2nd round but I have a feeling they will try to trade down unless an elite player drops to them -
Panthers Falcons rivalry potentially get a added spark

Bijan is the best RB prospect in a long time. I know they say don’t pick a RB early because of longevity but for a team with a questionable or young QB, Robinson could be a godsend -
With this staff it’s definitely good. The previous staff, it wasn’t.

Rumor has it that Tepper wanted Justin Fields and this desperately QB needy team instead picked a CB so knows if this is good or bad

Can Bryce Young make the Pro Bowl next season?
hepcat replied to Shocker's topic in Carolina Panthers
He’s already the best QB that ever was or will be amen -
It’s gonna be Young. Y’all got get ready. I am pretty confident that Thielen asked the team which QB they would pick before he signed. So y’all go and tell me why the only QB prospect he follows on IG is Bryce Young, and why Bryce Young follows him back.
-
Based on Instagram I do have to say it’s really leaning that Young is the pick. Thielen and Chark both follow Young and Young follows them back. I have to think both of these WRs asked which QB the Panthers were drafting before signing. Thielen does not follow Stroud nor does Stroud follow Thielen. Thielen doesn’t follow any of the other QB prospects nor do they follow him. Chark also follows CJ Stroud and Stroud follows him back. Terrace Marshall follows CJ Stroud, but Stroud does not follow him back. Marshall does not follow Young nor does Young follow him.

Person: Richardson still in the conversation...if we trade down
hepcat replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
That’s the only team that might do it. But if the Panthers trade down to #4, they either need to be content with getting Will Levis (barf) or they’d probably have to trade up to #3 with Arizona to prevent someone from trading up for Richardson. -

hepcat replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Unless Houston is hell bent on getting Bryce Young and/or hates CJ Stroud and Anthony Richardson, I see no way they would trade up. The Panthers would also need to drum up some smoke that they are planning to trade down and someone else is going to scoop Young #1 overall. I see no scenarios that this happens. -
What about the S Club 7 test?

Is Bryce a #1 prospect if he didn’t go to Bama?
hepcat replied to Wundrbread33's topic in Carolina Panthers
He was still a notch above the rest of the prospects this season even without that game. Maybe he wouldn't have been considered for #1 overall, though. Playing great in a big game always looks good for QB prospects. -
We are in the “everyone is lying” zone of pre-draft
hepcat replied to Doc Holiday's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well then we’d better be prepared for them to pick Will Levis then -

Ehh I disagree, Stroud is good but padded stats playing poor teams. Young has some elite traits. They’re close.
