  1. Young is bar none the better QB prospect aside from his size. Honestly I worry CJ Stroud’s stock is a little inflated because of the UGA game and having Marvin Harrison Jr who is as good a WR prospect since AJ Green. He is going to be an all pro. I am fine with either QB. Stroud is the “safe” pick. Young is the higher upside pick. It comes down to who Reich thinks fits his offense better and that’s probably Stroud. But I won’t be upset if Young is the pick and totally understand why they’d pick him. If they can design an offense to protect him, Young could be very good for a long time.
  2. They lost some guys but their defense still looks pretty damn good to me. They replaced some with arguably better players too like Jovan Hargrave. And I wouldn't doubt John Lynch's ability to draft a few good defensive players even without early picks. Their safety Hufanga was a 5th round pick in 2021 and had a good season.
  3. There’s a good chance Purdy doesn’t play this season and even still might not be the same QB he was pre injury
  4. I’ve just got this feeling Darnold tears it up on the 49ers next year. They have a loaded offense with probably the best offensive coach in the NFL. They were probably heading to the Super Bowl if Purdy didn’t get hurt in the NFC championship game. Darnold was playing well in most games at the end of 2022 and that was on a team with Ben McAdoo calling plays. This is easily the best situation Darnold has been in and it seems like he turned a corner late last season. I think he beats Lance for the starting job and has a career season. Good for him for landing in an ideal situation.
  5. They didn’t trade up to 1 without a pretty damn good idea of who their favorite is. They’re doing their due diligence and throwing up smoke in case someone makes them a stupid return offer for #1
  6. I can say this, I won’t be as pissed if this current plan and regime fail. Because at least they gave it a grade A effort. They brought in guys who’ve had lots of experience and success on the coaching staff. I can’t say the same for the previous regime. Things inevitably go wrong even with the best laid plans, but I can’t say they didn’t make good decisions on paper to get there. That’s a major improvement over the past 3 years.
  7. The 7 games Chark plays next year are gonna be nuts
  8. I’m just watching what is happening now, compared the last 3 years, and wondering to myself how the hell David Tepper allowed Matt Rhule to coach an NFL franchise.
  9. There was no reason for the bears to trade up 1 spot for Mitch Trubisky either but here is the world we live in
  10. Wait were you TrevorLaurenceTime
  11. It’s funny that Bears fans have any room to talk any form of trash about the Panthers because since the Panthers have come into existence the Bears are by far a worse team.
  12. I’ll finger your moms 2 hole with that 3-9
  13. Levis would probably only be good on the 49ers. Can’t recognize or feel pressure at all.
  14. If Bryce was 6’3 he’d no doubt be the pick
  15. He got smoked a few times especially early in the year. He’s gonna be fine, he was a rookie. His run blocking ability is insane.
  16. I think they’re taking Levis. Just a hunch. Another geographically convenient player to scout for the Colts.
  17. I will say his Athletic content is a marked improvement over his Observer content. And I was a big Person hater back in the day. David Newton is still the king of the clowns.
  18. Unless they straight up don’t like Stroud as a prospect for whatever reason. But again there’s other prospects from Ohio State worth checking out which makes it even more strange. The Colts barely sent anyone either. But for them I can see geographic proximity for their scouts having them already having close knowledge of the Ohio State team.
  19. You don’t have two long time NFL QBs on the coaching staff along with known QB whisperer Jim Caldwell and then make the decision yourself. Tepper probably just wants to see the QB they’re drafting up close after paying a heavy price to get him.
  20. The Texans didn’t send anyone and that’s probably all the evidence you need right there
