  1. Preaching to the choir. At the very least the best thing Tepper has done is unite the fanbase under one common belief that David Tepper is a terrible football team owner
  2. As Dave Gettleman said, “Big men allow you to compete”
  3. I hope they go after one of the up and coming offensive coaches. Ben Johnson won’t go to the Panthers with better openings available. Brian Johnson ditto. I could see Ben Johnson taking over the Chargers and Brian Johnson to the Jets. The Bears might go after someone like Brian Johnson to develop Fields with big time playmakers like Marvin Harrison Jr available with their Panthers pick. Anyway I think Kellen Moore might be the guy. Sadly enough I don’t think the team would have flopped as hard if Tepper hired him over Reich. And we know DAMN well the team wouldn’t be this bad if he just kept Wilks. Whoever it is, it’s probably going to be another mess in a year.
  4. You forgot to add Austin's metro area entirely. It's over 5m combined. If the Panthers are going to consider both states as their media market, it's not even a 90 min drive between the two cities.
  5. the league would approve moving the team from smaller market Charlotte to Austin/San Antonio which has more people in the region alone than the entire state of South Carolina.
  6. If yall are wondering where the team might go, the Austin/San Antonio market is RIPE for a team. Put the team in New Braunfels or San Marcos between the cities, and invest in a train line. Brand it the “Texas Something’s” so it’s not a city specific team, like the Rangers. Jerry Jones would fight tooth and nail but, the market has over 5m people as of now and is predicted to have 6-7m in 2030. The region will get an NFL franchise eventually.
  7. Whooooo hooo $600k!!!!! That new escalator is going to be SICK
  8. The media needs a punching bag like him now that Dan Synder is out of the picture. Oh that poor billionaire....
  9. that's all but confirmed if tepper doesn't fire him after this disaster of a season
  10. you going to outlive his wife? We are f*cked. Tepper is the worst owner of all 4 professional sports leagues
  11. I made a thread about how there would be a random coach or scout fired because they were going to say "I told you so" to Tepper about picking Young over Stroud. I thought it might be McCown based on those sound bites we heard after Stroud's Pro Day, but Staley surprised me.
  12. If Fitterer isn't fired it all but confirms all the decisions he's made were really just David Tepper pulling the strings because from an objective standpoint, Scott Fitterer is a horrible GM.
  13. Some of the best head coaches of all time weren't the hottest coaching candidates when they got their shot. Only thing that matters is the wins.
  14. Bryce deserves a shot in a real NFL offense designed around the run game with misdirection and play action. He could actually be successful in that style of offense. He’s never going to be CJ Stroud, but he could be feasible
  15. He won't. If anything I expect he will get even more involved. We might see him on the sidelines on gameday holding a clipboard at this point.
  16. It's sad that the exact scenario you described happened last year and Tepper decided not to run it back. To me it doesn't matter what happens the rest of the season because Tepper won't see the value in it.
  17. Unbelievable that two seasons in a row David Tepper has fired a coach in-season. Within the last 5 seasons he has fired 3 head coaches in-season. He is a clown. Reich was a BAD coach but he should have had a chance to finish the season. Rivera had bad starts in his first two seasons and both times finished strong. Panthers already have a rep for being garbage and now it’s certified and registered with the government. The real person who should be fired is Scott Fitterer and David Tepper should take a trip to Pittsburgh and not come back.
  18. What the f*ck reality are we living in? Two coaches fired in season two years in a row
  19. I mean on one hand, I get not firing him until the end of the season. It's Reich's first season and I've long said he deserves to at least finish out the year to try to show any kind of progress on the offensive side of the ball. The problem I have is that if they're specifically mentioning "develop the QB" as a reason to let him finish the season, well that's not going to happen with the way the offensive is constructed. Best we can hope for is they find an offensive line combination that works, some semblance of a consistent running game emerges, which is able to take some pressure off of Bryce. He'd look markedly better if the Panthers had a real threat of a multi-faceted running game utilizing lots of misdirection and play action. I mean have they run a reverse all season? Problem is the scheme is certified garbage and Frank is in over his head. He needs to retire.
  20. You’re assuming the retarded owner will hire someone suited to best use the players on the roster or to get players that will fit that “modern scheme” you speak of. The offense has gotten worse every season with the brief exception of Steve Wilks going full ground and pound for 12 games.
  21. Well packers fans might be jumping on it and reselling the Tampa game tix lol
