  1. Sounds like the panthers got lucky to get him. Maybe we can keep the defensive staff intact. Evero has been a miracle worker with all the injuries and crap he’s had to work with
  2. It just shows how degraded the culture of the team has become. Tepper wants to win but the only tool he has to motivate players is money. Money will only motivate a person enough to put in enough effort to not get fired and that’s what we see on the field every Sunday. Tepper’s biggest oversight is not hiring a coach the players respond to and respect. We just all know damn well if Wilks was the coach this season the team wouldn’t be 1-10.
  3. https://www.texastribune.org/2023/11/09/san-antonio-austin-growth-development/ just piling on the fact that ATX/SATX is an exploding market and will 100% have an NFL franchise sooner than later. Will it be the Panthers? Probably not. But will the NFL have a team there? 100%.
  4. Some of Frank’s decisions make me think he was trying to lose
  5. If Ben Johnson didn’t want to work here last year, why would he want to work here this year with less resources and a worse roster?
  6. Talk about a disaster waiting to happen. You guys think Frank was bad? Wait until Belichick gets here and flushes this turd down the shitter for good
  7. Bucs win in a blowout. When they fired Rhule last season it was still early and the players had a shot to make a run. This season they’re already at 10 losses and there is nothing to play for. Coaches are coaching for their jobs but I bet many of them are already making calls and texts to line up a new job next year
  8. Not even close. Seifert rode the coattails of Bill Walsh and had been out of football for 3 years before coaching the Panthers.
  9. Remember when Bobby Boucher showed up at halftime and the Mud Dogs won the Bourbon Bowl?
  10. Seifert had an eye for talent, gotta give him that. 2001 draft was fire and key to the 2003 Super Bowl run
  11. Low key CMC didn’t want to play for the Panthers anymore. You’ll never hear him say that publicly or the media report it, but look where he ended up. He’s playing under the son of the same coach his dad played for. CMC grew up getting babysat by Kyle Shanahan. It’s a perfect fit for him and I’m happy he doesn’t have to be on this garbage loser team anymore. He was never meant to play for the Panthers and he’s where he’s supposed to be now.
  12. The results on the field say yes. As a person, no it was definitely Rhule
  13. Can I have a job where I underperform and phone it in for 11 months and then you fire me but then you pay me for 3 more years? I’m down for that agreement.
  14. If it was Brown’s offense and playbook, he would have called the plays from the beginning and he would have been the one getting fired for the anemic offense instead of Frank. It was the same trash offense Frank Reich ran in Indianapolis.
  15. It’s a panthers tradition to hike the ball with 00 on the play clock. I can’t remember a time the panthers offense wasn’t taking every possible second of the play clock to get the play set and the ball in play
  16. Beating the 2023 Panthers is not an achievement by any metric or stretch of the imagination, and in my honest opinion all wins by teams that played the Panthers this season should be stricken from the record. This team shouldn’t even exist.
  17. The Panthers sh*t out so much bloody diarrhea on the field that our fans are now looking at the poop teams as examples for how to develop a QB.
  18. Those teams scored a combined 1 TD in that game
  19. They should have just hired Steve Wilks for a couple seasons to build up the depth and develop some players, then go get the big up and coming coach after a few mediocre flirting with the playoffs seasons to get over the hump. Better than the dogshit we see every Sunday
  20. Maybe David Tepper is just a certified loser who only hires coaches with ties to Pennsylvania. He’s just going to hire another Pennsylvania jabroni to rinse and repeat his brain dead loser cycle
  21. Here's the same metric of the 75mi radius of Austin. Granted this area is closer to two other NFL franchises than the Charlotte area. However the Dallas 75mi radius has 8.5m people and the Houston 75mi radius has 7.6m people and none of these areas overlap with each other. Texas just has a lot of people and could easily support 3 NFL franchises. Florida does it with less people. Y'all are crazy if you think central Texas won't get another NFL team. It's the biggest US media market (aside from dubious San Diego) without one. It's not going to happen tomorrow, but it's going to happen.
  22. Do I think the owner should meet the player selected #1 overall by his team? Yes. #1 overall players are generally franchise changing level talents, especially if that player is a QB. It's natural for the owner to want to meet them before the team picks them and invests in them and the future of the team. Do I think the owner should be at all the scouting events, pro days, and analyzing that player's value on the football field? Unless that owner is a professional scout or football administrator, the answer is a resounding no.
  23. Ok guys back to football for a bit. With Reich and two offensive assistants out the door, how much does the scheme change? The brain dead running game and forced pass-first attack is one of the primary reasons the offense struggled this season. There was a sore lack of misdirection plays, read option, play action, and have they even run a reverse once this year? I’m not surprised Duce Staley was fired given how poorly the running backs performed compared to last season. I’d really like to see the offense go full running game attack with all of the above. Put Bryce in winning situations with easy reads that put WRs in space to get yards after the catch. Without quick receivers the only way to do that is by forcing the defense to respect the run and be ready to cover all areas of the field. They will get winning matchups somewhere on the field if the running game is working. But hey I’m just a fan. We will see what actually transpires on the field.
  24. Tepper admitted he reads twitter and we all know for a fact he or his team read the Huddle. If the bad on-field product isn’t going to convince him to step away, PSL owners not renewing their contracts and an empty stadium might.
  25. Not expecting to hear a shred of accountability from Tepper but it will be interesting to hear if he divulges anything about changing his process or involvement in the on-field product. He needed to hire a president of football operations 5 years ago.
