Carolina Panthers: The NFL's Rollercoaster franchise
hepcat replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper broke the rollercoaster -
Real question that we will obviously have to wait a few more years to answer. But have the Panthers actually “hit” on a player since the Hurney days? Horn I guess is good but very injury prone. Outside of him, Brady Christensen I guess? Otherwise it’s mediocrity to downright sh*t.

Bill's Diggs to Houston for 2025 2nd rounder
hepcat replied to thunderraiden's topic in Carolina Panthers
Texans know they got a winner in CJ Stroud and are spending big to maximize his rookie contract. Smart football decisions. Meanwhile the Panthers are still the biggest retard organization in pro sports. Thanks David Tepper for all the great memories you've given us. -
Probably better because it’s hard to go lower than only winning 2 out of 17 games, but I suppose they could win 0

If he’s the best player on the board so be it. I hope the Panthers don’t just pick a WR because they need one.

Lab mix is probably good with kids. Been thinking about getting a chocolate lab in a few years. Our 14 year old Aussie actually passed away today, really hard losing a long time member of your family for sure

Footwork and timing are great things to work on but it’s not going to matter if he struggles to throw the ball deep or see over his lineman to scan the field.

All Bojangles locations in Maryland are closed, here's why
hepcat replied to jayboogieman's topic in Huddle Lounge
Bojangles probably structures their franchise agreements with owners in a way that absolves the corporate entity of any liability in a situation like this. Can’t get any more American than this!- 1 reply

Unnecessary Bluntness: Do Panthers already have a draft crush?
hepcat replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Need to draft a WR with true speed. I’d rather pick Worthy over Legette if both are available, but it’s possible neither will be. -
could mean EVERYTHING

Steelers Trade Kenny Pickett to the Eagles
hepcat replied to Prowler2k18's topic in Carolina Panthers
Russell Wilson is such an enormous vagina tool -
Hubbard could be in for a breakout season if that offensive line gels. Low key one of the best Panthers draft picks of the last 5 years. If the offense focuses on relentlessly running the ball, setting up play action and taking pressure off of Bryce, the offense might not be dogshit. Still a lot of holes on defense. Man, what an exodus of what was a pretty solid unit last year. Luckily Evero is grabbing a new of his guys in free agency, especially if they get Fuller at safety.

Hard to say how involved he is until we get a little further along in the tenure of the new leadership. We know how involved he and his wife were in the Bryce Young trade, and that Fitterer appeared to do whatever Tepper wanted. He hired Dan Morgan and Brandt Tillis to run the show. The moves we see being made right now might not involve him much.

Younger player hopefully a good price

I still think it’s going to be a very bad team and I’m going to let myself be pleasantly surprised

Panthers are addressing the pass rusher position just like they addressed the WR position last season. Sign veterans in the twilight of their careers.

I’ve been looking at the Steelers fan sentiment since they traded him to the Panthers and by and large they seem to agree this was a punishment trade. Johnson complained he wasn’t getting the ball enough last season and openly quit on plays. https://x.com/prosportsgoats/status/1728865242137198767?s=46&t=04sKNnhiiGcTDblLYKGiJQ He also got into several locker room arguments and fights with his teammates. https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/10098744-diontae-johnson-talks-viral-video-of-steelers-fumble-rumors-of-locker-room-argument.amp.html https://steelersdepot.com/2023/02/diontae-johnson-denies-allegation-he-punched-mitch-trubisky-before-jets-game/ So if he had issues on a team like the Steelers with a lot of veteran leaders and established head coach, what kind of attitude will he have with a young rookie head coach and GM? He’s a top 5 route runner from everything I’ve seen of him on the field, but off the field he could be a locker room cancer if things don’t go well. Not sure how excited he is to be on the Panthers to begin with.

If Dionte Johnson decides to stop playing football or is old and sucks now. It’s possible.
