  1. Because there are some "fans" that honestly think we should trade away one of the best defensive players in the NFL, a potential HOF talent who is only 23. This thread should be locked I agree. Nonsense from a desperate 49ers fan that gets posted here, absolute garbage. Worse than Bleacher Report.
  2. The Panthers have 70 million dollars in cap space in 2016. Kuechly isn't going anywhere.
  3. Kuechly is a HOF-caliber talent. Do you not remember what the defense was like before he was starting at MLB? You don't get rid of a player like him. It's like trading away Tom Brady.
  4. Aw some desperate 49ers fan wants Luke on his team? fugKK OFFFFFF LOSERS!!! No way in HELL Kuechly is going anywhere.
  5. Alexander is also still on his rookie contract. Hardy would still be on the roster if he was on his, too. What's your point here? It's about taking on a NEW player with baggage, not keeping one that's already under contract.
  6. At this point Hardy is probably looking at a 1yr deal that won't break the bank. No team wants to spend a bunch of money on a player with the kind of baggage he has. Especially after the Ray Rice fiasco. Rice's career looks like it's over, and Hardy is struggling to find a new home. He's too talented not to sign somewhere but no one is "backing up the Brinks truck" like he said after the 2013 season.
  7. He seems to be running out of options honestly. The Raiders made it clear they aren't purusing Hardy, straight from owner Mark Davis's mouth. http://espn.go.com/blog/afcwest/post/_/id/70685/greg-hardy-to-raiders-doesnt-look-like-it The Jaguars state they aren't interested http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/164245/jaguars-unlikely-to-pursue-greg-hardy The 49ers, Falcons, and a few other teams have stated they aren't interested. Hardy might have trouble finding a home. He will definitely be on a roster - he's too talented not to be, but it might be a one year "prove it" deal, ala Dave Gettleman, albeit not in Carolina. I thought the Bengals were a solid landing spot for him given their track record of signing talented players with off-field issues and turning their careers around, but they brought back Michael Johnson so that seems unlikely now. I think Tampa Bay is still a strong consideration. Or we might see a huge surprise and see someone like the Bears sign him. He did play for John Fox for a year...
  8. Good for him. Definitely worth a flex spot the first 2-4 weeks of the season since Bell is likely to be suspended.
  9. He was a good scout, or well, maybe Carolina's scouting department is pretty good at least in the first round.
  10. Yea 2005 was the last "big" one with Lucas and Wahle. They were gearing up for a run and it panned out in the short term. Then Hurney got "re-sign all of the players to overpriced contracts" mode and we took a nosedive.
  11. SIGN HIM NOW! $2 trillion dollar contract for 600 years!!!
  12. Look what the Panthers did! We blew out both our biggest division rivals in their domes and one fired their coach and the other is blowing up their team. What a great day to be a Panthers fan!!
  13. I mean all he's saying is he'll get a chance to start. He'll probably go into training camp as the starter, which he should since he's got a lot of starting experience. Still no doubt in my mind they'll spend a high draft pick on a tackle.
  14. I can't believe a thread about a possible visit for a 5th string WR/special teams player has 378 posts and counting
  15. Dude if I had kids that'd freak me out. I'd go on aggro mode and be watching for them to come back. Reminds me of when I was 10 my family and I went down to Disney World. I got caught up in a crowd and separated on a shuttle trolly. I knew they'd be on the next one so I just waited up at the next station for them. Probably there 10 minutes by myself until they showed up. But while I was there some old man came up to me and asked if I wanted to go ride some rides with him. He was one of those old greasy dudes that was at freaking Disney Land by himself up to no good. Even in my 10 year old mind I knew he was bad news. I started screaming bloody murder and he ran away. Some other family waited with me after that and I made friends with their kids and we rode Space Mountain together later that day.
  16. Huge difference between signing a player that has already been on the team was wanted back by management but left because his price tag was too high, than signing a random player with no ties to the team.
  17. You know what's stale? Every time a player is cut and we have a thread that says "Let's sign this guy!" even though there is 0 chance it will happen. This is what, the 10th "sign jake long omg" thread? Stale? Child, please.
  18. Let's just sign every washed up has-been to a huge contract because this is Madden apparently
  19. Boykin played mostly on special teams in 2014 for the Packers....could this be a special teams move?
  20. Anyone else see that rumor Brees traded to buffalo?
