  1. Lol this should make some Panthers fans happy
  2. They brought Cam back because their backs were against the wall. The defense is playoff caliber talent wise and the offense has enough playmakers to win with even an average QB. They were turning the ball over at an astronomical rate with Darnold at QB. It was frankly embarrassing. The fans were turning on the team because trading for Darnold with no safety net move was infuriating and even a casual fan could see a Jets reject QB as your only starting option was NOT a good idea. So they could either sign Cam and see what he can do, win the fans over, sell tickets, and hope he drags this team into the playoffs.....or lose the fanbase. Those were literally the two options they faced. I don't really think it's "good on them" for doing it. We forced their hand. We were about to tear them apart.
  3. Trying to remember....maybe that Bucs game at home in 2018? The last win before the epic losing streak began? Otherwise we gotta go back to 2015 for sure.
  4. The offensive line didn't give up a sack which is huge. The whole team will play better when the offense is diverse and dynamic. But one thing I noticed is the Cardinals seemed like the phoned the game in from the start. They kept Murray on the bench even though he probably could have played. I get they are trying to keep him in bubble wrap until the playoffs but I would have expected a better effort from them. They were never in this game from the first snap. I hope the Panthers can continue this energy against teams playing with a full deck.
  5. Teddy's done worse stuff than this. Cam's career took a massive hit running down an INT because that loser Kelvin Benjamin gave up on a route. I hate Asswater as much as the next guy but I kind of understand what he did here.
  6. I think PJ still needs to get some snaps. He played decent yesterday. The dual QB system will keep defenses off guard. And definitely have Cam play in the red zone. PJ is terrible down there.
  7. If they had kept Asswater and drafted Fields that would have probably been the best move. I think despite the fans best intentions, the team listens to us a little too much LOL.
  8. Lol he earned it yesterday. His presence alone won them that game. It would have been a close slog fest if it wasn’t for Cam
  9. A long article pretty much telling us we should have just drafted Justin Fields and signed Andy Dalton or something. This team is so dumb.
  10. It's maybe a top 20 moment. It hits the list. But let's be real the team is 5-5 and there are many better moments that had a greater impact on the team than this.
  11. For sure. But I think Reddick is getting a nice 3 year deal out of this season. I don't see Gilmore coming back unless he takes that sweet hometown discount to keep his wife happy. DJ Moore needs an extension but the price for him is tough to determine. Is he a top 10 WR? There's a lot of good ones out there right now. Someone would give him big money other than the Panthers. But I think you gotta keep him. Would have been awesome to get Cam on a two year deal but I think he might be a candidate for 1 year extensions from here on out. The one getting the tag might honestly be Donte Jackson. Seems like a guy who thinks he's worth more than the Panthers might be willing to pay him. He's become a solid player but has an injury prone history. I think he'd be better on the tag.
  12. Very underrated reason the team is playing better
  13. Cam is back this is real life. I’m so happy.
  14. That’s a man you’ll follow his leadership. Sam Darnold? Hell no.
  15. It is Sam Darnold’s fault. There were too many times he missed open throws with a clean pocket
  16. I missed this. Guys this is real. I just pinched myself.
  17. Cam is 1 year younger than me I think he’s genuinely a strange dude
  18. He was OC of the Giants for 2 years literally as soon as he left the Panthers. Not saying he was good but he was still an OC
  19. Cam couldn’t save Mike Shula and those teams made the playoffs
  20. I mean if THIS is the case then picking up the option was a no brainer. It's a no risk high reward situation if he pans out.
  21. lol man, I posted about how happy I was that Cam was back yesterday. It was a desperately needed move on a team that has admittedly gotten pretty miserable. Now I'm thinking about how much better it would be if Cam had Dan Arnold to throw to and a 3rd round pick next year to beef up a pathetic offensive line instead of yet another corner on a team that seems hell bent on collecting them. Everyone is touting the "buy low" aspect on Henderson but lest we forget that the Jaguars gave up on this guy 1 year after drafting him in the top 10. What did they know that the Panthers didn't? Even the Jaguars aren't stupid enough to give up on a guy that fast unless something was seriously wrong. I'll bump this thread next year when Henderson gets cut in training camp because he doesn't give a sh*t.
