Sam Darnold is just plain and simple a loser.
-
I agree there is more talent on defense than last year. Offense is largely the same if not worse on the offensive line. So that might balance it all out. I really don’t think this team has accomplished anything over what they did last year yet. They beat 2 teams with rookie QBs and a team missing half their coaching staff. A win against a pretty solid Vikings team would legit surprise me. I expect the Panthers to get their asses kicked today.

Team started 3-2 last year too so are they really trending up? I guess it depends on if you believe in the QB or not. Darnold surprised me early in the season but it was against poor teams. As soon as the difficultly level ramped up Darnold has looked worse. If he bounces back today I’ll be happy for him but I’d be surprised. The offensive line is terrible and Darnold has largely been a poor QB in his career.

I hope I’m wrong too but as a day trader I watch trends carefully and the Panthers are trending down and if they were a stock I own I would have my finger on the sell button right now

There’s truth to this too. Sam’s poor play today is not going to be entirely his fault. It’s going to be a combination of many things including bad scheme // playcalling and extremely bad offensive line play. But he had open throws he missed and INTs he threw last week when he wasn’t under pressure and there were plays left on the field.

Got my pops visiting this weekend and he said he hasn’t had chicken wings in a long time, so I am busting out the deep fryer and going to town with a much of different wing flavors and homemade ranch. I like to bread my wings with corn starch before dropping them in the fryer, then hit them with the sauce, then keep them in the oven for about an hour on very low heat to set the sauce. Crispy, not messy, delicious wings.

Darnold continues to regress and looks like the worst QB in the NFL today

I wouldn’t be surprised if the line moved higher for the Vikings before the game starts

Ronald McDonald Rivera set this franchise back

Wouldn’t look like that anyway because everyone has turf fields now lol

Had a career year in his contract year, no surprise there. He was always talented but injury prone. I worry the same is happening to Donte Jackson right now.

This team loves losing streaks. And they’re about to go on a very long one again.
-
I bet on the Vikings to cover the spread. I did the same thing in 2012 when the Panthers were finding new and creative ways to lose games.
-
They're a pretty reasonable bunch and have about as much PTSD from their team being terrible in crucial situations as we do!
-
Don’t worry the Panthers aren’t making the playoffs

Loss to Eagles worst halftime lead squandered since Nov 2016

That's what happens when your QB throws 3 INTs and the head coach blames the defense -
he won't be a head coach there for long, he need more experience

CMC trending the wrong direction? Not practicing today...
hepcat replied to SgtJoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Probably what we're looking at. I bet CMC comes back in a few weeks for a game or two though. -
Night and day worse from last season.
-
Vikings 31 Panthers 26

If you are signing these guys to be backups it makes sense. But they were signed to be starters and it’s been a disaster
-
did Teddy get rid of the ball faster than Darnold?
-
The article also shows that he did some good things for the Panthers last season and probably would be a better option over Daley, Miller, and Elflein.

Consider the fact that former Panther Chris Reed is a starting LG on the Colts it makes me wonder if talent evaluation is also the problem. https://www.si.com/nfl/colts/film/chris-reed-strong-game-against-panthers
