I'm not ready to admit anything. I thought the defense looked big and fast in the preseason, they made a LOT of upgrades on that side of the ball, so I expected them to be good. Burns is a freak and will probably have 15+ sacks this season. On offense I'm still not totally sold on Darnold since he hasn't faced a single scrape of adversity yet with the defense being so dominant. But, I will say he has looked confident and poised save for a couple bad moments. Playing with the best RB in the game will help with that.

Lol an automatic win if they had Taylor starting I want what that guy is smoking. This season might be a lot like 2015 with every other team’s fanbase downplaying the Panthers success and saying “blah blah bracket Olsen shut down Cam we win!”. Similar story this year might be “Bracket McCaffrey Darnold stinks we win!” Panthers should win this game in blowout fashion. If they don’t then maybe those first two games were a mirage.

Calling it a "college defense" is a downright f*cking stupid comment. The Panthers are an NFL team so it's literally a professional defense that's currently ranked #1 in the NFL.

Darnold has played well like I said. But it’s easier to look good when the defense is dominating and CMC is putting up 150-200 yards a game. Let’s see how he progresses through the season before we take a victory lap yea?

Houston would have been a tougher game with Ty-god at QB but Davis Mills is about to have a rude welcome to the NFL in his first start. If there’s one thing this Panthers defense has proven it can do so far this season, it’s get to the QB.

Darnold has played well but let’s not kid ourselves it’s easier to look good when you have CMC putting up like 200 yards a game and a dominant defense. I can’t wait to see how Darnold plays when the chips are down and we need him to bring the team back from behind at the end. If he pulls it off I’m ready to give him the credit he deserves.

Burns bulked up from what I understand which helped. So did Shaq. Defense definitely looks bigger on the field than last year.
