  1. Oh we're probably getting to that, that's why the lawyer indicated there are "possibly 10 more" women that are stepping forward with accusations. Problem is, they're all anonymous at this point. It's being tried in civil court. And the Houston PD has come out and said none of the accusers have filed criminal charges. Buzbee is a grade A scumbag from what people I know in Houston have told me about the guy. Probably why people in Houston are quick to dismiss this situation as pure theater. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-texas/houston/article/Sylvester-Turner-calls-for-investigation-into-14545665.php
  2. I read the court filings. They all read almost identically. Lawyer is trying to indicate a pattern. I noticed that no LMT# (Licensed massage therapist number) were listed. In Texas you get a registration number when you're a licensed massage therapist. Which leads me to my next point: I get some of the women would want to remain anonymous for the sake of privacy but not even one is stepping forward publicly? The number is getting outrageous at this point. Potentially 22 women accusing him?? Watson is either a violent sexual deviant who should be in jail or this made up nonsense blown way of proportion. There is no in between. The whole situation is a mess, and it's really really bizarre. It's not what it seems on the surface.
  3. If the situation he’s in turns out to be overblown, yes.
  4. You really have to wonder what they really got as far as real trade offers. This is the same team that traded away one of the best WRs in the game for a 2nd round pick and washed up RB.
  5. You're obviously referring to me. I don't think the team orchestrated the allegations. But I do think they knew Watson might have liked getting inappropriate massages for a long time. I do think they could have helped him keep this quieter than it became. I do know that the lawyer representing the accusers claims to be neighbors with and know Cal McNair. Whatever you want to call it, there's some weird stuff going on given the trade demand earlier this year. Just throws a wrench into this whole thing. It's not what it appears on the surface.
  6. That's what I think is happening here. I think it's clear that Watson got some massages that were, let's say "less than legal". Whether he crossed the line or assaulted these women aren't important for the sake of my argument, but it's definitely possible that he did. The Texans management probably caught wind of this massage stuff, and would have of course kept it quiet if Watson were complicit in staying with the Texans. Instead, Watson demanded a trade. The Texans don't want to trade him. So the Texans retaliate by taking these whispers of massage impropriety and explode them way out of proportion with a lawyer who is known to make incendiary claims. Texans management does this all under the incentive that they can make this all go away if Watson just agrees to keep playing for the Texans. Where the prisoners run the prison.
  7. I think the sketchiest thing would be if Deshaun Watson suddenly changed his tune and decided he wanted to play for the Texans again. Would make me thing that old daddy Bob McNair "made this all go away" in a weird blackmail situation. Ultimately I do not think the Texans want to trade Watson, there's obvious bad blood that goes really deep, and we don't know even 90% of the details.
  8. Yep. Language is important. I said I'm skeptical, and I gave my reasons. I didn't say the accusers are lying though. Reading is good.
  9. I think a lot of the people "defending" Watson are skeptical about the timing of all of this situation. The optics are admittedly pretty sketchy. Given the recent trade demands from Watson and the the less than stellar reputation of the Texans ownership, it's not a far stretch of the imagination to think this could be blown way out of proportion to force Watson to settle with not only these accusers but the team as well. The attorney has previously been accused of making fabricated claims against the mayor too so this all has to be taken with a grain of salt until there's some real evidence provided aside from some instagram DMs that just prove he hired them for a massage that might have gotten awkward. Did I say that? I'm just saying the whole massage game is a fine line between therapeutic and being a straight up escort. The accusers might all be telling the truth. But I have a hard time believing all the allegations since it's a civil case, the timing of the situation given Watson's trade demands, and the reputation of the lawyer. The optics of it are super sketchy.
  10. you can be a licensed massage therapist and also an escort
  11. 1 yr low money contract yes please. Type of guy the team could sign if they were a contender. Problem is this team sucks, the players know it, and is probably going to be 5-12.
  12. Lol it definitely wouldn’t be Green Bay fans
  13. It’s worth making a push for Fuller. Panthers were in on CB Michael Davis from the Chargers before he re-signed.
  14. NFL needs to just offer a Sunday Ticket style package themselves. This is going to explode illegal streaming even more if there isn’t a reliable package to purchase that has all the games
  15. I'd rather have teddy for another season than to give away 3 first round draft picks for that weirdo. pretty sure he doesn't even have a soul.
  16. He’s probably the same level as Teddy TBH
  17. Ok so the same problems from last year exist this year, what the f*ck is your point???
  18. How many games did we go and didn’t force a punt??? Lol
  19. The timing of this whole thing given the trade demands makes this super suspect, everyone can sense it. And we know the Texans owner is an unabashed racist
  20. Watson won’t even miss a game. It’s obviously all concocted by the Texans ownership retaliating for his trade demand. The Texans are a garbage franchise run by garbage people and they deserve to be garbage.
