  1. as soon as we hire coach Superbowl McChampionship Side note to the original post - they're just making cap space because of bad decisions last year. IE Sam Darnold's 5th year option, Anderson's contract extension, restructuring Matt Paradis last season adding $8m in dead money this season.
  2. Incompetence at the highest level. They guaranteed the statistically worst QB in the NFL $19m before he even played a down for the team. I hope they clean house next year. Little hope with Tepper running the show though. Sad days for Panthers fans.
  3. Here is my view in my season ticket seats at Austin FC's stadium. We beat Miami 5-1 yesterday. Scored 10 goals in the first two games, an MLS record. Austin FC is going to beat the sh*t out of Charlotte FC on June 30. So glad I don't have to support another team owned by David Tepper. Austin FC is owned by a previously successful MLS owner and Matthew McConaughey. I'll probably get to see them win a championship in my lifetime.
  4. Picking up Sam Darnold's 5th year option before he played a down for the team has to go down as one of the worst decisions in franchise history.
  5. yea the Gilmore trade was a no-brainer. probably Fitterer's best move he's made. Rent Gilmore for 3/4 of a season and get a higher comp pick than they traded away? Yes please.
  6. Rebuild just begins one year earlier than many expected. There will be a new coaching staff next year and they’ll have a head start
  7. It is what it is until it ain’t bro
  8. It's open season on Rhule given how much money he's making and how bad the team has performed.
  9. could have been doing it on his phone and autocorrect but yea I mean professional athletes have never been the standard for grammatical accuracy
  10. @elliscan you sum the audio to mono when you post these? annoying when it's heavy in one ear Great content though good interview
  11. I won’t be excited again until at least Rhule and everyone he’s hired is gone. I might never be excited about this team again as long as Tepper owns the team though
  12. well in all fairness we needed one last year too and they decided to trade for a guy that already sucked
  13. There's a real tangible chance the 49ers will be drafting #1 overall with the Panthers 2023 draft pick they traded away for Jimmy Garropolo.
  14. slightly unrelated username reference comment
  15. No no you misunderstood him. Scott Fitterer is in on every buffet deal
  16. Yea I agree with this. It was time for Rivera to go, but hiring Rhule was a massive mistake. Can't fault Rivera for shooting his shot! Every player has a price - even the best.
  17. Forreal And I wonder what people are going to say about Rhule after the Panthers are one of the worst teams in the NFL yet again in 2022. At a certain point you just aren't what a select few people say you are.
  18. Same vibe I got. The Matt Rhule cult is freaking bizarre. He seems to have collected a bunch of misfit coaches and players over the course of his career and they're all infatuated with him. He has some sort of voodoo magic speaking ability that obviously worked on Tepper and Marty Hurney too. The rest of the NFL sees him as an amateurish joke.
  19. Thompson is clearly one of the biggest Matt Rhule fanboys on the planet, having played for Rhule at Temple and now Rhule gifting him a 53 man roster spot he might not have gotten on any other team (sorry bro being real with you). He stuck up for Rhule many times in the thread. And of course he would, I don't blame him.
  20. Reddick's on Twitter saying he didn't struggle against the run. I went back and watched a few highlights against teams that ran all over the defense. Just on my quick glances, Brian Burns is f*cking TERRIBLE against the run. But that's just my dumbass assessment. I saw his ass on the ground more than any other player on the defense. Washington specifically ran towards Brian Burns/Marquis Haynes's side. Cowboys just demolished the entire Panthers D-Line Patriots schemed the defense into hell Bucs bodied up every Panthers player and put them on the ground It's just a tiny defense that can't win 1 on 1 matchups
  21. From what Fitterer also said, McAdoo apparently likes Thomas and has a plan for him. Who knows. I'll stash him on my fantasy football roster bench for sh*ts
  22. If they signed him to that big of a contract because he's a good locker room guy this team is actively trying to lose.
