There’s no f*cking way you can keep a coaching staff that regressed in year 2 to the point where the team ends the season as probably the worst team in the NFL. This is as low as we have been in 25+ years. The Jets and Lions are competitive and improving to end the season. The Jaguars have Lawrence to be excited about and are probably hiring Doug Pederson (smart!) The Giants blew out this garbage team. What do we even have to be excited about? This is a miserable franchise.

I bought tickets to go to the Panthers - Patriots game when they went on sale in May. Wife is from Massachusetts and a big Pats fan. We were planning to fly up from Texas for the game. After I saw what kind of team the Panthers were fielding by that point in the season I said F*CK THAT and sold those tickets for a loss. So glad we didn’t go. If Central Texas gets an NFL franchise in my lifetime, I don’t think I’ll be around these parts anymore.

Matt Rhule has aged so much and gained so much weight in the last 5 years….

We need to just restart. I can’t imagine a scenario for keeping Rhule unless they actively want to tank next season.

Yep. We all could see the writing on the wall after the Cowboys took the Panthers defense collective pants off and beat their bare bottoms cherry read in all facets of the game. The blueprint had been laid. College style stunts and tricks to fill gaps doesn't work. Maybe Snow is doing this style because of a lack of size in the front 4. There's a notable lack of talent at LB. Keeping a known run stopping LB like Denzel Perryman, if he'd wanted to play for the Panthers (still not sure why he even signed a contract with this team) would have helped the run D. But now here we sit with a team that is no better than in 2020. I'd even argue the roster is in worse condition. What is better? The secondary?

This. This is why the fans want Rhule gone. The team overall hasn't improved this season at all. For all the "improvements" the defense supposedly made, they all seem to be coming undone at the end of the season. Tampa is going to drop 40+ on this team twice. New Orleans beating them last week assures that they will have to beat the Panthers twice. It's going to be an ugly season's end. No one is on board for struggling to win 5 games every year.
