  1. It's a monumentally horrible decision on many levels that have been discussed ad nauseam on this forum.
  2. You f*ck up the chance of fixing the f*ck up by trading away assets that could dig you out of the hole you're in.
  3. The Panthers are NOT the Rams. They are not a good QB away from winning a Superbowl. The Rams have Sean McVay who turned a dumpster fire franchise that hadn't made the playoffs in 12 years into an instant Superbowl contender. The Panthers have a fraud head coach in Matt Rhule who couldn't even beat a ranked team as a college head coach at a large budget Big 12 school. Now if the Panthers trade away their next 3 years of first round picks and also a few ascending young players, who replaces them? Free agents? UDFA? This team will be reeling in many other areas. Watson showed in 2020 he couldn't carry a sub-par roster. Trading for Watson will be a disaster. Mark my works. I hope it never happens.
  4. Why are the Panthers so willing to trade for Watson? This is going to f*ck up the team for the next 5 years at least. And I just can't bring myself to root for a sexual predator.
  5. Philly could make an extremely compelling trade for Watson with only first round picks from this season. They Madden'ed their last draft and have 3 first round picks. If Hurts improves, the Eagles could be a force to reckon with if they hit on even 2 out of 3 of those picks.
  6. If there's anyone from the Seahawks the Panthers should be lining up to sign, it's Duane Brown.
  7. That’s the question all players who are offered a contract from the Panthers are going to ask themselves. The team will be made up of players with no other options.
  8. What a sickening thought ugh I was pounding the table all off-season in 2020 about keeping Allen over signing Bridgewater. They’re basically the same QB except Allen was ridiculously cheaper
  9. Hey I made a thread about how much less they have to gripe about than us since we already experienced it but our team sucks much worse
  10. Panthers fans had every right to throw a fit for cutting Cam. We got NOTHING for him and he deserved so much better. There was no plan in place to replace him. Seahawks got a huge haul of picks and players. They've had 1 losing season out of the last 10. They should be glad their franchise understands how to sell high and buy low. The Panthers buy high and sell low.
  11. Just goes to show you how hard winning a Superbowl really is. Sustained winning seasons comes down to stability at the QB position. A championship requires a whole other level of luck and determination. Sometimes I think once these top level QBs actually do reach the top of the mountain, their motivation slips a bit. Brady is the exception due to his legendary focus and competitiveness. No one wanted it more than him.
  12. We didn't get anything in return when Cam was cut except a new regime full of sh*t. Seahawks got a Herschel Walker level kings ransom. HUGE difference.
  13. When your team drafts in the late 20s year after year it's harder to get blue chip difference maker players. Eventually that comes back to bite you. Grated the Seahawks have been worse at drafting since the early 2010s when they had a couple historic draft classes, but it's still true.
  14. That's exactly why they traded him. His massive salary was preventing them from properly building up the rest of the roster. Same issue the Falcons have had the past 3-4 seasons. Except no one wants Matt Ryan hahaha
  15. Historically this is not the norm. Brady doesn't even count, he's the GOAT. Stafford was a rare exception of a QB going onto a Superbowl caliber roster and being the missing piece. It rarely pans out that way though.
  16. The Seahawks are making moves that winning franchises make to continue long term sustained success. The current formula to win in the NFL centers around having a QB on a rookie contract and building up the rest of the roster until that young QB develops. The team reaches their peak when that QB signs the second contract, and the roster devolves from there due to lack of resources. Many teams have followed this formula but kept their aging franchise QB far too long. Atlanta is a prime example. The fact Seattle got a kings ransom for Wilson shows they are ahead of the curve and are going back to the rookie QB behind a great defense strategy that won them their first Superbowl. All those draft assets are going to pay off. Long story short their fanbase has no reason to curse their leadership that delivered 9 straight winning seasons. This isn't the Panthers leadership that obviously has no idea what they're doing. Those guys have a Superbowl ring and have proven they know what they're doing, despite recent struggles. Meanwhile, Denver will struggle to win their division. This isn't Peyton Manning coming to the Broncos in a downtrodden AFC West. The AFC West had 3 playoff-caliber teams last season (Chargers were definitely legit).
  17. I don't think it's going to matter once he's traded. Ben Roethlisberger was welcomed back with open arms. Watch Watson pull the same sh*t about being a born-again Christian with a new PR team to clean up his image.
  18. they have NOTHING to whine about. 1 losing season in the last 10? They got a kings ransom for their aging franchise QB on a massive salary? booooo freaking hooooo.
  19. Psh, I'm laughing at their fan misery straight up. Panthers fans are beginning to know true misery like Lions or Browns fans. The Seahawks had literally ONE bad season out of their last 10 and their fans are flipping their sh*t.
  20. They are so progressive that they actually support criminals and believe in rehabilitation.
  21. ^live feed of Seattle fans right now Omg you had one losing season waaa waaaa oh you got a Herschel Walker level haul for your aging franchise QB who DELIVERED A SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONSHIP TO YOUR CITY omg time to burn down the stadium Seahawks fans are a bunch of spoiled babies. It sucks that I totally agree with the move to trade Wilson, I wish the people running their franchise were as dumb as David Tepper and Matt Rhule so they could understand true misery.
  22. it's fun to hate the people who made this mess especially david tepper because he is a cocky douche
