damn no sh*t he is, I didn't notice that!

wow not Wilks? Guess Holcolmb has been with this coaching staff longer

you know something we don't?

Can't spark what can't be lit

Where do you draft Howell and with what draft pick? He's not worth #6 overall and he'll be gone by pick #106 most likely.

Mayfield had a rough go last season but it was clear he was injured. He had a good season in 2020. Everyone seems to forget how awful the Browns were for 20 years. What Mayfield accomplished there can’t be underestimated. I bet he’s thrilled to leave.
-
Of course they are. They have almost the exact same physical measurements. Willis is more athletic but might just be another EJ Manuel. Mayfield is a polished prospect who managed to win on the BROWNS. Let’s not underestimate that.
-
People here are talking about drafting Malik Willis but Mayfield is basically the same build and style of QB. Mayfield could win right away on a good roster. Willis would need a few years to be productive and would probably be a huge bust on this coaching staff. If they’d trade Mayfield for a 4th or something I am so down. Franchise tag him if he works out.

Lol let’s pull up a video of all of Darnold’s interceptions now just to compare
-
He’s miles better than Bridgewater and light years better than Darnold. Problem is McAdoo thinks Darnold was a better prospect. https://www.dawgsbynature.com/platform/amp/2018/7/16/17578058/ben-mcadoo-surprised-john-dorsey-drafted-baker-mayfield

Mayfield appears done in Cleveland. Regardless of if the Browns land Deshaun Watson I’d imagine. Would you consider Mayfield if Watson doesn’t come to the Panthers? Personally I would. His price tag would be far cheaper, he’s played some good football in his career (unlike the last QB they traded for). Plus no creepy sexual predator stigma to deal with. I think the Panthers should be getting a vibe for his price right now.
-
Badass. Yea he wasn’t gonna get a big salary, he was bouncing around the NFL last year before getting a chance to play for the titans after Henry got hurt
-
Stepped in for Derrick Henry in a few games this year for the Titans and looked solid
-
I love this signing. I wanted the Panthers to draft him out of Texas. He rushed for over 2000 yards in 2016. He’s reminds me of Larry Johnson
-
Foreman is a beast.
-
Hell yea. Foreman was a BEAST at Texas
-
Of course he agreed, because he might not end up having many other real options. The asking price is insanely high and the Panthers are one of the few teams desperate enough to be offering what the Texans are asking. I admit I don’t know what any of these teams are actually offering but I do know FOR SURE the Panthers are desperate enough to make an insane trade for him. The only reason I think they’re still in the mix is because they are offering so much.
-
They haven't had an offer on the table for over a year
-
Because the Panthers have been involved and interested in trading for him since last year. Longer than Cleveland, longer than NO. The only other reported team that was interested was Miami and it's been semi-reported Watson didn't want to waive his no-trade clause for the Panthers at the trade deadline. The Panthers have been ringing the bell for a year. Watson isn't answering. He's probably seeing the Panthers as a last ditch option if a better team doesn't offer as much in trade.
-
because if Watson wanted to be traded to the Panthers this would have happened already. Last year at the deadline, or now already. He's busy meeting with all the possible teams because he doesn't want to come to the Panthers. They're probably his 3rd or 4th choice.
-
no brainer after Reddick left
-
Seriously. I really believe the Saints and Falcons are getting involved mainly to drive the price up for the Panthers. Neither of those teams can really pull it off without crippling themselves even more than the Panthers would. If the Panthers drop out I bet Deshaun goes somewhere wacky like the Giants. Who I still think are waiting in the wings with two top 10 draft picks this season.
-
The fact that there are so many reports he's "going to Carolina" out there on Twitter makes me think he's definitely not going to the Panthers.

There will be a new thread created as soon as a trade is complete, regardless of where he goes
