  1. None of the QB's in this draft class are worth the #6 overall pick. Let the Saints trade up and waste their draft capital. They are great at doing that. If the Panthers didn't think Mac Jones or Justin Fields were worth the #8 overall pick last year, and they think any of the QB's in the 2022 draft class are worth the #6 overall pick, everyone needs to be fired.
  2. Nope. It's absolutely going to happen. There's too much money in Austin/SA now. Freaking Elon Musk might own the team.
  3. No they aren’t. The majority are quickly becoming people from out of the region or state entirely.
  4. It will happen eventually, there are almost 6m people in the Austin/SA area. Texas has the second highest state population in the US. Florida has a lower population than Texas but has 3 teams.
  5. The Austin/San Antonio market would like a word.
  6. LT has been an issue for almost 10 years. This class has some of the best LT prospects in the last 10 years and the Panthers are in PRIME position to get one of them. They’d be foolish to pass one up in a weak ass QB draft.
  7. cherry picked stats are so fun
  8. I know a couple of the guys in Black Pumas who were playing the same show as Foo Fighters were in Colombia that night. They had to announce the Foo Fighters weren't playing and that they were playing longer. Horrible.
  9. I’m arguing that Darnold was seen as a talented QB in a bad situation under Adam Gase just like Ryan Tannehill. There were other teams that were willing to take a chance on him thinking if he got put into a situation with better coaching and players around him he could be successful. It didn’t work out, but I don’t think it was a horrible decision. The Panthers just didn’t hedge their bet.
  10. If Mike Shanahan’s post-Elway Broncos are any indication, Kyle isn’t too great at QB evaluation either. But who knows, Lance hasn’t even had a real shot yet.
  11. I mean you pulled up a statistic from AFTER the Panthers traded for him LOL. Like I said, hindsight is 20/20.
  12. Actually, I think he is. The best ability is availability. And McCaffrey hasn't been available too damn much the last two seasons. If playing him in the slot allows him to be more available and keep him healthier, it's the right call. And if Christian doesn't like it, he can pound sand. When you are hurt for the better part of two straight seasons, you have to change something.
  13. Haha I was about to say the same thing. They're stuck with Darnold, for better or worse, most likely worse. They just need to do what they didn't do last year and that's have him compete with either a veteran or a rookie QB for the starting job.
  14. Hindsight is 20/20. Darnold was playing under Adam Gase and there were a lot of teams that were willing to take a chance on him. The 49ers were rumored to have offered a 1st round pick for him (who knows if that is true). The Panthers did pay a little bit of a steep price, maybe a 3rd would have felt a little better, but I didn't and still don't disagree with taking a chance on Darnold. What I really disagree with was picking up his 5th year option without him playing a down for the team. And also passing on Justin Fields or Mac Jones. Having Darnold battle it out with a rookie was the right call. I have to think Joe Brady's amateur-esque offense had a hand in not drafting a rookie QB. A rookie needs development and Joe Brady's offense wasn't flexible enough to cater to a rookie. Who knows how well McAdoo will do developing a QB, but he can't be any more reluctant or inexperienced than Joe Brady was.
  15. I think Tepper and Rhule have eating contests on the weekends and he's too gassy to have a press conference. Or so I like to think to myself because I like making fun of rich people.
  16. Trading for Darnold was not a bad idea. Picking up his 5th year option was a HORRENDOUS idea.
  17. Garoppolo is way better than Darnold. San Fran sucked before he got there even with Shanahan
  18. Everyone saying “not interested” must be down with seeing Sam Darnold lose double digit games again, or overdraft a Teddy Bridgewater clone because the coach recruited him out of high school. Yea we don’t want to sign a guy who has played in the Super Bowl and was in the NFC Championship last year. Nah. Let’s not even consider it. Even if he was a reasonable contract and not giving up any assets to do it. Wow what a horrible idea that would be. I’d much rather have Sam Darnold!!!! Because I like rooting for losers.
  19. https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/49ers/nfl-rumors-jimmy-garoppolo-might-have-be-cut-not-traded-49ers?amp I am down to sign him for a reasonable contract if this happens.
  20. Watch them trade down and they’re all gone lol
