  1. What do you expect? He was like 64 when this trash franchise gave him his NFL first defensive coordinator position. Is it any surprise it has been a failure?
  2. Panthers almost blew it in this game, played very similar to the way the Broncos played against the Seahawks on Monday night. Except Gano made this FG. A bittersweet memory.
  3. RBs playing the Panthers defense are a must start every week. It's been proven over and over that Snow's defense can't stop the run.
  4. welcome to yesterday's news everyone
  5. Considering we live in a country where our politicians are openly bribed, I have even less confident our sports leagues are "fair" either.
  6. It used to be a fun outlet to enjoy with my friends and family. The past few seasons it’s become something I take out my frustrations on.
  7. He’s a bust. Shi Smith beat him out. Trash.
  8. They never really gave him a shot. He got hurt and they just kept rolling with Elflein per the article. If the bad snaps and poor performance continues they have to put him in.
  9. I mean to say 12 on running plays. Icky doesn't need the extra TE to help him on running plays. I guess that depends if they considered Ricci a FB or TE but he only played 12 snaps. My problem is they ran 2 personnel groupings and they ran for 55 yards. They could have run 21 personnel with Ricci at FB and Foreman at RB and pound the rock. The only reason the Panthers were even remotely in that game was due to mistakes in the Cleveland secondary. The Thomas 50 yard gain, Robbie's TD, both breakdowns in the secondary.
  10. They ran 12 personnel on most plays. Just crazy they never changed it.
  11. Sounds like when Rivera was forced to play Andrew Norwell over for Amini Silatolu and Nate Chandler.
  12. So can we just call a spade a spade and say this is a dumb team run by dumb people?
  13. LOL jesus christ, we're f*cked
  14. I said all offseason I'd be first in line to eat my crow if Baker panned out and Rhule lead the team to a playoff season. Unfortunately Matt Rhule is probably one of the least qualified people to ever become an NFL head coach. College head coaching experience does not equal NFL experience. This has been proven time and time and time again, but still NFL owners keep taking chances on college coaches. Very few college coaches are successful in the NFL save for a few big exceptions. Pete Carroll and Jimmy Johnson being the biggest in the last 30 years, and Carroll already had a failed stop as an NFL head coach in New England. Most of the others successful college to NFL coaches were before most of us were born. I think Tepper thought he was getting Jimmy Johnson and he ended up with Greg Schiano. An NFL coordinator has built connections on NFL staffs throughout a career. It was quite obvious Matt Rhule's biggest downfall was the fact he didn't have enough connections to build an NFL caliber staff. We've seen that become a stone cold fact in 2022 given how much turnover his staff has endured. The staff was filled with mostly college level coaches in 2020 and the results weren't great. The offensive coordinator had never even called plays at any level. Hire college coaches, get college results. It's pretty simple. I just don't know how long it's going to take to fix this mess. Tepper made a huge mistake hiring Rhule, but the biggest mistake was keeping him in 2022. You could take this same roster and put it in the hands of Brian Daboll or Kevin O'Connell, hire an NFL caliber defensive coordinator, and it's competing week in and week out. The Panthers missed a golden chance to part ways with a certified failure. And now we have to sit through yet another miserable season.
  15. why the F is Bozeman not starting? I don't get it.
  16. Fat Fool is my personal fave
  17. Progress made over the weekend. Retaining wall almost done being installed. Ordered the Tuff Shed. Install probably late this week or early next week!
  18. DE is as big of an issue as DT if not bigger. YGM and Burns are just too small to set the edge.
  19. Fitterer deserves a shot to hire his own coach. He's made some questionable decisions but the fact remains he'd put a lot of good talent on the roster as well.
  20. I like Dorsey but I don't know if there's enough evidence for him to become a head coach yet. He inherited a well-oiled machine of an offense from Daboll with an MVP caliber QB. I'd be interested in Byron Leftwich or maybe Demeco Ryans. There are a few quality Rams assistants still out there too. I'm not a big fan of looking at Sean Payton. I feel like he's gonna phone it in for the rest of his career if he doesn't go back to the Saints.
