  1. I said all offseason I'd be first in line to eat my crow if Baker panned out and Rhule lead the team to a playoff season. Unfortunately Matt Rhule is probably one of the least qualified people to ever become an NFL head coach. College head coaching experience does not equal NFL experience. This has been proven time and time and time again, but still NFL owners keep taking chances on college coaches. Very few college coaches are successful in the NFL save for a few big exceptions. Pete Carroll and Jimmy Johnson being the biggest in the last 30 years, and Carroll already had a failed stop as an NFL head coach in New England. Most of the others successful college to NFL coaches were before most of us were born. I think Tepper thought he was getting Jimmy Johnson and he ended up with Greg Schiano. An NFL coordinator has built connections on NFL staffs throughout a career. It was quite obvious Matt Rhule's biggest downfall was the fact he didn't have enough connections to build an NFL caliber staff. We've seen that become a stone cold fact in 2022 given how much turnover his staff has endured. The staff was filled with mostly college level coaches in 2020 and the results weren't great. The offensive coordinator had never even called plays at any level. Hire college coaches, get college results. It's pretty simple. I just don't know how long it's going to take to fix this mess. Tepper made a huge mistake hiring Rhule, but the biggest mistake was keeping him in 2022. You could take this same roster and put it in the hands of Brian Daboll or Kevin O'Connell, hire an NFL caliber defensive coordinator, and it's competing week in and week out. The Panthers missed a golden chance to part ways with a certified failure. And now we have to sit through yet another miserable season.
  2. why the F is Bozeman not starting? I don't get it.
  3. Fat Fool is my personal fave
  4. Progress made over the weekend. Retaining wall almost done being installed. Ordered the Tuff Shed. Install probably late this week or early next week!
  5. DE is as big of an issue as DT if not bigger. YGM and Burns are just too small to set the edge.
  6. Fitterer deserves a shot to hire his own coach. He's made some questionable decisions but the fact remains he'd put a lot of good talent on the roster as well.
  7. I like Dorsey but I don't know if there's enough evidence for him to become a head coach yet. He inherited a well-oiled machine of an offense from Daboll with an MVP caliber QB. I'd be interested in Byron Leftwich or maybe Demeco Ryans. There are a few quality Rams assistants still out there too. I'm not a big fan of looking at Sean Payton. I feel like he's gonna phone it in for the rest of his career if he doesn't go back to the Saints.
  8. They gave up a TD because of another Jaguars reject yesterday, can't imagine we'll get much out him.
  9. The Chiefs crushed but they played a wildly overrated Cardinals team that will probably be changing coaches next year.
  10. Unless Baker balls out and starts winning games there's every reason to hope for a #1 overall draft pick.
  11. What was his quality win??? Arizona with their backup QB last season?
  12. Preaching to the choir my dude. We all know he has got to go. It just sucks we wasted the 2022 season.
  13. Those RBs never missed as much time as CMC has
  14. Phil Snow literally has no idea how to shut down a run game. His wacky gap alignments are college crap that has been called out by several opposing coaches. Steve Wilks is a qualified defensive coach. Could he call a better game than Snow? I mean probably. What is Matt Rhule even good at by the way? Could he call plays on offense or defense? What does he even do?
  15. I thought Eberflus would have been a wonderful hire. He would have fixed that defense right up. Could have hired a number of guys to run the offense. Snow has never been qualified to run an NFL defense and Matt Rhule literally has no idea how to coach with the game on the line. How many 4th quarter leads has this team blown under their inept watch? I’m just over it. Time for qualified NFL caliber coaches.
  16. If he got 30 touches he’d get injured by week 3 like he always does
  17. Lol if you’d made this thread about Derrick Brown I might have agreed. Horn is coming off an injury and Icky literally had his first game against the best DE in the game and didn’t do abysmal. He had some nice moments.
  18. 3-9. He will make it to the bye week and get fired after they clinch a losing record for the season.
  19. Offense made second half adjustments No injuries
  20. Snow runs a bad scheme that doesn’t have NFL level gap integrity. It’s a wacky college scheme. At first I thought it was because of a lack of talent on the D-Line but it’s year 3 now.
  21. Rhule did not have the team prepared today but you can’t disagree that was a horrible call. He’s right on about the awful refereeing.
  22. Always remember - the NFL is under no obligation to call a fair game. They are a private organization that made up their own rules.
