  1. Exactly. There's no way they will be worse than last year with even minor improvements on defense. But it's a small market team that has been very bad for a long time so the AI bots generating these articles are incapable of projecting improvement. Plus Bryce finally started showing semblance of being a competent NFL QB late in the season.
  2. It was an acceptable draft that could have been an incredible draft if Fitterer wasn't the GM
  3. Yea I was about to say, Steve Smith's track record on evaluating WRs is really bad
  4. Completely depends who it is. But in most scenarios I can imagine, even in 1992, it would be an odd to even criminal/predatory behavior.
  5. Wow, great signing. Dude racked up 1000 yards on the ground for the cowboys last year
  6. 1 year deal at $2.787m is a great value.
  7. Excellent signing. Guy can play any position on the line.
  8. The good thing about Morgan is he was on the Panthers when the team was somewhat well run. I don't think it can be understated how god awful Scott Fitterer was. I don't know if he was too heavily influenced by Tepper or if he was just awful at his job. Morgan at the very least was a Panthers player, was around when the team had success which probably helps just his general attitude towards building the team.
  9. What is funny about signing Moehrig is that the Panthers could have DRAFTED him if Scott Fitterer wasn't a moron. In the 2021 draft, the Panthers had the 39th overall pick. They traded down, twice, in the second round, eventually drafting WR Terrace Marshall Jr 59th overall. Moehrig was drafted 43rd overall. The Panthers also passed on OT Tevin Jenkins who was picked by the Bears in the 39th overall spot, and passed on Creed Humphrey who was drafted 63rd overall. Good teams draft well. The Panthers have been one of the worst drafting teams since 2021 and it's not even close.
  10. Morgan appears better than Scott Fitterer but that’s not saying anything at all, Fitterer is one of the worst GMs in NFL history.
  11. Is that after Tuttle’s paycut?
  12. https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-release-running-back-miles-sanders Good.
  13. I actually think the Panthers might end up drafting a LB or WR. It makes them less desperate to get DL help. CB is still on the table though, but I'd hate it at 8 overall.
  14. If the defense improves with similar results on offense from 2024, this is a 8-9 win team. If Bryce takes another step forward it’s a playoff team. That’s IF the defense improves. They’ve made a huge investment in defense so here’s hoping it works out.
  15. Excellent. This is the best signing of the day.
  16. What the Pats paid for Milton is two or three mid level defensive players. Makes more of a difference than 1 player. Milton isn't even as good as KK Short.
  17. He signed, he's not signed, which is it? This is a lot of money for a DT when you already have Derrick Brown. But this dude is a problem in the pass rush, ass cheeks in the run game though. Panthers better load up on LBs that can stop the run or the defense will be a sieve yet again.
  18. No thanks on that butthole contract. DK is also kind of a hothead
  19. Winning free agency is what garbage teams do. The best teams are quiet in free agency and draft well.
  20. The panthers need to focus on defense. I’ll say it again, the Panthers need to focus on defense.
  21. This garbage franchise hasn’t drafted a center since 2007
  22. I can’t see him going anywhere but the 49ers
