There’s a disconnect in understanding professionalism or lack of during that segment of the interview. Him being “honest” there was a miss and he did himself a dis service I’m also not using a made up scenario where the Detroit head coach is saying after the season his player was a better pick vs a guy who played at an all pro level at the same position. questioning a guys size and using that as a reason to pass on a player when he just had an all time great rookie season - as a head coach and his OL was bottom tier, he’s literally saying this live on air after Slater had a fantastic season…..and also said he had a mobile QB as in saying that’s why he was kind of good this year… do you 2 get it yet ?

Mental skills coaches will preach this. Always reinforce positive action. Visualize positive results. Body follows the mind. “catch the ball” ”make this 3 pointer” vs ”don’t drop this fly ball” ”don’t miss this shot”

“Don’t beat ourselves” anyone who knows basic sports psychology would know you never include the word “don’t” - the brain doesn’t recognize “don’t” don’t strike out = strike out dont drop the ball = drop the ball don’t screw up = screw up don’t beat ourselves = beat ourselves Mental edge in sports mentality should never include the word “don’t”. This is standard sports psych 101 stuff.

Rhule talks too much. He talks so much you know he’s full of poo and also doesn’t make sense half the time. It’s just verbal diarrhea. Rhule’s team this season was dreadful after the opening drive. The offense had no clue how to adjust. Worst 3rd quarter team I’ve ever seen. Awful decision making in game. The pro game is too advanced for him.

The pro game is too advanced for Rhule. Every game is miserable and follows the same script. Rhule hired his buddies from the college world for his staff and they are completely outclassed by other NFL teams Tepper hired Rhule because he said Rhule reminded him of himself.
