  1. Can't wait to see him against NFL talent. ME NEITHER
  2. Agreed That said, 2024 there should be no more excuses. BY will have several new targets, an improved O-line and a more competent coaching staff this year. He just needs to play better. If he's continues to make mistakes or just can't get the job done than we need to move on in 2025.
  3. He'll make a reasonable improvement ~ 24 TD 3000 yards and well be competing for division I think something close to this is the only thing that keeps us from drafting a QB in 2025. Anything less we're wasting years.
  4. Once it gets closer to training camp their asking price is going to come down significantly. Once you skip a year of playing at their age they will soon be forgotten.
  5. Something this team sorely needs. I don't want them to get along. I want them to battle tooth and nail. I'm really excited about OTAs and mini-camps.
  6. I just believe these picks have more to do with the mental makeup and physical traits. Both of the LBs give me a Frankie Luvu feeling. I know everyone is getting tried of the "Dawg" comments but every one of them give me that feeling. Hopefully we'll see that in camp. I expect a couple of fights.
  7. I never said that. With this core of WRs we have several different combinations. This was just one of them.
  8. Here's the clip. I don't see the issue everyone seems to be worried about. He's been working this position for several years and now he'll prove it. https://youtu.be/tuul7aBtbGA?si=k-gyD4adheHnnMXu
  9. I can't believe there wasn't a serious conversation between Morgan, Canales and Corbett, Christensen and Mays. IMO, Corbett convinced them he can play the position as well as Christensen and Mays. We have OTAs and mini-camps to evaluate and address the position if they aren't doing well. I was hoping for a C too in the draft, but am completely satisfied with the draft. Rounds 1-4 filled many needs. You can be upset that we didn't address the center position but you gotta love we got offensive talent for BY. Raym seems to fit the attitude Morgan is looking for. Has some issues and will probably make the PS. His deficencies are coachable. Who knows maybe he becomes Norwell 2.0.
  10. Imagine. Johnson on one side Coker the other, Theilen in the slot and Sanders at TE. You can double team the all. Johnson and Coker running precise routes. All of the are dangerous because they are sure handed. Could be a fun year.
  11. The wins will be a factor but I believe it will be more about how he progresses. If he's pulling a Darnold and making the same mistakes over and over again the wins won't mean that much. They say he's a smart QB. He'll have weapons this season so we'll see if he uses them.
  12. If you're going to bring up the Burns trade you have to include the players we were able to sign with the money we saved by trading Burns. We got three positions of need with the money we saved by trading him.
  13. Actually pretty shocked we go decent grades for these picks because there were other high profile names still on the board and would have thought we'd get lambasted for our picks.
  14. Powerful leg but the clip alluded to him missing a chip shot. They might have a new kicker but let's see how he does in preseason.
  15. Agree with @Growl Most of you bang your heads over these picks and some might be head scratchers but building a culture with players that fit Morgan and Canales should be top priority. Many of our latter round picks should tell you something. Words like Baller, Ultra-competitive, beast, high motor all fit these guys. Hopefully, in a couple of years when this draft class is truly analysied we see these guys get drafted higher than where we got them. I know the career GMs in here won't understand.
  16. Honestly, Rounds 1-4 we're just what the doctor ordered. Rounds 5-7 I thought there we're better players available at the position we drafted but I feel these players drafted have a certain disposition that Morgan is looking for. Plus getting a #2 next season really helps. It's a B+ for me. I can't wait to see them on the field. If you add everything this off-season FA, trades, the draft and UDFAs to the mix I think our off-season is an A+.
  17. Coker will have a great mentor in Theilen. Theilen was an undrafted rookie as well. Each year I pick UDFA that makes the team or PS. Coker is my man in 2024. Outside of Smitty really liking him I love that he's a great route runner.
  18. If you can get a good route runner in UFDA you go all in for him.
  19. He did well at the Senior Bowl and is an ultra-competitor This is thee type of player you want in the 5th round. Fight and scrap. Sure there may have been other players we need but are they sound enough to fight tooth and nail. I feel this guy has it. The Dawg is in him
  20. Not that Dallas is an expert on RBs but Jerry Jones really wanted Brooks. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/cowboys-miss-on-jonathan-brooks-who-ranks-as-next-best-rb/ar-AA1nKjeX
  21. I'm not going to post as if I know anything about this guy. What I can say from watching the videos this guy is a sure tackling LB. Some of his tackles are violent and about as sure as you can get that the offensive player is going down. The videos seem to portrait a DAWG. I believe Dan sees something special in him and look forward to see how he does his rookie campaign. I have read he's pretty good covering TE and RBs out of the backfield. Sounds like a perfect 3rd down player and once he's coached up to correct his flaws he'll Crack the lineup.
