Those that I have seen may have one or two active topics and only one or two post that day. It's amazing how we can have 10 or more post active any time of the year.

I've waited to post this for a while now. I didn't want to interfere with the Draft. Since we have a couple of weeks until OTAs I thought I would post this. I have been a member of this forum for a long time, early 2005 I think. I originally was Davethepanther before they rebooted this forum and I had to add the year 2008. What I love about this forum is that no matter what time of year it is, we have content to discuss. I don't know how many of you have visited other NFL team forums but IMO none of them come close to the Huddle. I have been to some other teams forums, NOT ALL, but enough to see that we have more active topics that most forums. We have lost so many great posters but have also added many. Conversations have changed a bit and less conversation and more I'm right and you're wrong. However, in the end we still are better than most forums I have visited and honestly it isn't close. Just remember that none of us are experts. Some think so but in the end we are all just fans. At times things get heated but when you make your post remember it is just an opinion, you're not right nor are you wrong. It's just an opinion. That said, I am making this post to remind you that you are a part of one of the best sports forums on the Net. We all should be grateful that we have a place that we can come to anytime of the year and talk Carolina Panther football.

Same here. It's frustrating to see veterans that are on the downslope get more reps than the young guys. IMO he should have given Ransom more PT. He seems to be a playmaker and I just didn't see much of him last year. The only way you are going to improve is to get PT. His lack of faith in a rookie is irritating.
-
We all know that he fell because of where he played and only one year of experience, but I think he's a sleeper and if he can take good coaching he might surprise us. The only thing that will hold him back is EVERO. Evero is not much on playing rookies. He's going to have to play Hunter but after that I would not be surprised if we don't see many of our defensive rookies play.

You're correct but the lack of a run game isn't completely on Young. Granted he needs to complete passes to open up the run game but if our O-Line isn't operating like they should than he's to fault?
-
I get what you are saying but this team is built around the run game. He's not going to lead the league in any passing category. I think if he protects the ball and doesn't put us behind in games like he did against Jacksonville and Arizona we'll be alright. I'm not a huge fan of his but I give him a bit more credit than you do. He's shown he can win close games, and winning is the goal whether by one point or 14 points.

Bold prediction. What happens if he does well? Outside of a Top 10 TE we have pretty much every weapon he needs. I know you aren't a fan of his. We will also have a much-improved defense that will keep us in games.

Well I just read another article that said our draft was a B and the worst pick was Brazzell. If he was our worst pick than we should have had a A+++ IMO.

I remember a time when several members were "Suck for Young". Might be hard to believe but there were several members. I'm not sure Manning is up to the Hype of his name. Seems he has struggled a bit a Texas now and then.

We have a brutal schedule and as they say Any Given Sunday. I do believe everything hangs on BY. He will have plenty of weapons and needs to continue to improve. If he falters than I would hope for a top 5 pick and move on with one of the good QBs coming out in 2027. I am an optimistic person, so I am looking forward to a good season.

I hate these trackers online. They are only showing us with 3 UDFAs. King, Guilbreau, Cam Miller -

Plus two UDFA we're down to 6 more UDFAs? -
Going to update my post because I thought we were done after round 5. Freeling - A highly rated OT that gives us several options going forward, especially with Icky and Moton. Not sexy but great pick, IMO Hunter - A violent man. You put him with DB and Scourton and our recent FA. Our front seven looks pretty damn good. Brazzell - A big WR with ungodly speed. Gives DC and Young options at WR and a deep WR Room Lee - CB that can help our back end. We'll see where he end up. Hecht - 2nd rated Center in the draft and we got him in round 5. Can't argue with the pick. Our OL depth was very thin. He'll help Wheatly - fills a need at Safety. How can you be upset. Kuwatch - This is a Dan Morgan pick. The guy has elite speed. Rated 387 but mostly because he only had one year of experience. Love this pick Overall, Dan Morgan picked Dan Morgan type of players. I know there are going to be several arm chair GMs that will nitpick this draft but IMO it is another solid draft class.
