I saw where Marshall was compared with DK Metcalf. If we have Robby, DJ Moore and a Metcalf clone. We are going to be a high scoring offense. Pick your poison CMC or any one of these three receivers. I also saw on YouTube in an interview they said he was 6'2" 200 lbs and Marshall said he was 6'4" 210lbs. So the dude is still growing. DAMN

I know we haven't put the pads on yet but is seems as quiet as a mouse on Miller. Are his days numbered in Carolina?

I get all the reasons why he waited so long but it was very apparent that Whitehead was a liability. Rhule/Snow/Brady have to be better at pulling the plug on someone who isn't performing well. Our depth is much better this year so IMO there shouldn't be any excuses why they can make a decision much earlier. I could care less if that player is making too much money to sit the bench. The best 22 should be on the field regardless of veteran status.

Jacksonville will be interesting to watch. Minshew could be the odd man out in J'Ville and I would love to see him backing up Darnold.

What a positive dilemna for this team. We have so many good receivers someone is going to be cut. It may come down to who will be the PR/KR. If one of these guys shows off as a PR/KR that might be the difference in making this team or being cut.

It should be noted that they also said it was not uncommon when they aren't in pads. I'll start to worry if it is a problem once the pads go on.

I'm ready. It seem that this offseason has dragged on longer than other season. I'm anxious to see how good our draft class is. If they are as advertised this team is going to be fun to watch. GOOOOO PANTHERS

I am glad it is almost here. We will be able to back up the trash talking about whether Darnold is going to be good or bad. Then again every pass picked off gives the haters more hate and the TDs give the Darnold fans proof I told you he was the man.

Thanks for the interesting update. I don't get the amount of doubt from the huddle because either they don't want Watson or they don't believe it is true. You're a quality poster and I don't think you would post this without a credible source. That said, I like Darnold but if we could get Watson it could put us over the top. It clearly is a decision that our front office would have to mull over.

We were playing the greatest show on turf. They were a high scoring machine so it wasn't as bad as it appears. That play put Steve Smith on the map. After his injury in 2004 he started his climb to the top. He was the 2005 comeback player of the year.

Darnold could play well and we still lose. Now if he throws a couple of picks and fails to move the team then he might warm up his seat some. Win or lose, I believe it will take more than one game for him to really get his confidence at a good level. I think our defense is going to be tough to score against so Darnold doesn't have to be a superstar. Take what is given to him and let all his playmakers make the plays.

I was a big fan of Christian Miller in his rookie season and I think he flashed here and there. I think if he can step up he could be one of those multi-use players on defense. He's my No. 1 interest. I am highly interested in Darnold and hope he really shines so the Field lovers will final let it go.

I really don't have an issue with any of our free agent moves or draft picks for that matter. It's kind of unfair to even bring it up. These guys haven't even put the pads on yet. We are gambling a lot on many of these players.

I think Tremble could fill that FB roll when we use a FB. Maybe keep Fisher for the LB group which I think is the weakest group on the defense. Possibly pick up a free agent at FS if we don't go an additional LB.

There is no doubt in my mind that the NFL and the Referee's did not like Cam. I don't know if many of you remember, but about Cam's 2nd year when he was hit roughly. Cam asked the ref why it wasn't called roughing the passer. The ref replied you haven't been in the league long enough to get a call like that or something like that. We've can point at least a dozen shots that were never called as evidence. Shoulder injuries take years to heal and may never fully heal. Cam is a super athlete and if anyone can overcome that injury, I would bet on him to do it. I wish, hope and pray that he has fully healed and puts the Mac Jones Era on hold as he leads the Patriots to the Super Bowl against his former team.

Putting his old lady in charge is a slap in the face to the NFL. Anyone in their right mind will know she's a puppet to Daniel Snyder. IMO they should force him to sell the team. He's the #1 in charge and everything under him is ultimately his fault. He allowed it. I don't believe for one minute that he was unaware of all the complaints. He should be forced to sell.

It's easy to criticize in hindsight. We should have kept Cam and let him walk this year. IMO he would have done better with our weapons that what TB did. Once again it's hindsight. You can't blame management for deciding to cut bait with Cam. I understood and I was a huge supporter of Cam. Signing Darnold was probably better than trying to bring Cam back. It definitely was better than hanging on to Bridgewater. I believe Sam will do just fine with this team. We'll find out in about 3 weeks. I'm more optimistic about this season than last. I predict wildcard.

It's amazing how quickly he got us in Cap Hell again. Gettleman got us out and once they brought Hurney back we went straight back to Cap Hell. He may be gone but it is far from over and done. We have to live with his decision making on who to keep and who to let go. Example. Shaq over Bradberry. KK long term, CMC long term (praying it pays off) While he is gone his shadow is still hanging over us.
