  1. I was screaming trade him. I said he was undersized for run blocking. panther55 said his size wasn't an issue. B.S.
  2. I really like CJ Henderson but he does make dumb mistakes. If he were smarter he'd be terrific. Maybe he can put it all together in this game.
  3. The Bengals best CB Eil Apple, who we know is terrible, and Eil's hamstring is hurting. They have no other NFL quality CB in this game. Period. All PJ has to do is deliver the ball and it's a completion. Guys will be open the entire game. However, will PJ throw a lot of bad passes again? Who knows?
  4. Both teams are not good, so it's kind of a 50/50 game. Could go either way. Basically it all boils down to our x-factor PJ. If he plays well for all 4 quarters, then we'll have an easy win. If he only plays well for 1 or 2 quarters, then it's a loss. If he starts the game cold, then we're in trouble.
  5. We can still pick above them if the ball bounces our way. Not saying it's likely, but it could happen.
  6. PJ looked worse that Darnold in the first half of our last game. The jury is still out.
  7. It's depressing now yes. Wait until April. Not depressing anymore. Now PJ still has a chance to win the starting job, so that could be exciting.
  8. We are getting CJ somehow. I don't care how but make it happen. Start Darnold. I don't care. I don't want anymore poop QBs. I can't take it.
  9. Yeah I was watching and thinking like he's so bad at this he's going to get hurt. Like he's putting his life in danger out there and throw up pure trash in the process. Just horrid. We would be completely insane to just roll with Matt and not take a QB. I just can't un-see that preseason play.
  10. God in preseason he looked like a small town high school QB if memory serves.
  11. It depends on your personal definition of a fan. If your definition does not allow for someone to be in favor of the team losing for better draft picks, then in your head those people are not Panthers fans. That's fine, but don't be surprised if others don't agree. Furthermore, we don't need to agree. Yes there will be some bickering, but that's the main reason the forum exists outside of Panthers news.
  12. Guys I think we should all keep breathing! That's right I said it, and you can suck a lemon if you disagree.
  13. Yeah the guys who usually tell me I'm not a fan because I hope we lose for draft position are no longer following the team. They leave when too many losses pile up, but not before telling I'm not a fan lol. I'm here year round guys.
  14. 'Great Wall of Lina' is better. At least they've played well enough to earn a nickname. But in all seriousness, let's wait until we have a winning season before we start with the nicknames, unless it's a bad one.
  15. Yeah his arm is just so powerful that he can flick it, which I am fine with, but sometimes he looks a little sloppy and the ball goes where ever the hell. I need to use torque on my body and be precise as hell with my throwing motion just make a decent throw, but CJ can just do a quick little flip and it's rocketing down the field. But like his set throws are inconsistent imo. I think it's the way he naturally likes to throw, but I know it wouldn't be for me. Anyway just some thoughts not an expert.
  16. I am not an expert by any means on throwing motion, and thanks for these videos. I can tell you that I can throw a football very accurately, and looking at CJ's throwing motion it seems inconsistent and a bit awkward. There are times in games where CJ will miss throws to open targets badly, like way off. The throwing motion sometimes looks good, and sometimes you wonder if he lost focus or rushed it or something.
  17. I was chuckling to myself wondering if Tepper will mail the DBO sign to Rhule's home to mess with him.
  18. CJ is the obvious pick imo because of his insane arm strength and decent accuracy. When CJ throws he's just kind of flicking the ball effortlessly a lot of the time, and the ball rockets down the field. It's crazy. CJ's throwing motion is kind of messed up, yet he's still able to get the ball where he wants it to go. Imagine if he fixes his throwing motion. He'll be amazing imo, assuming he can see the field.
  19. He promised to retire if Pickles wasn't a successful NFL QB. He's still working.
