  1. Let me go look around the cesspool that is twitter to see what's up.
  2. What team would need him more than us? This is kind of a no brainer.
  3. Corral pooped the bed last preseason, but he has come out strong here in the OTAs. Sometimes a painful rejection can light a fire under someone. Corral is here to fight and claw it appears from what little information we have at this point. Yes this is jumping to conclusions based on limited information, but that's kind of how sports forums work. Corral is showing me something here, and I think the coaches are taking notice.
  4. PNP liked Corral's passes better and I agree. Young was struggling. If you didn't know who was who, you would think the starter would be Corral.
  5. Sports media is about banging a pan with a spoon to draw attention, and being right about something is irrelevant. This leads to all or nothing statements to draw in viewers. For instance, Young and the Panthers offense are going to be unstoppable. Or, Young is going to be a disaster and the Panthers are going to be terrible, he's going to get injured immediately, ect.
  6. DJ Chark would be the #1 WR, TMJ #2, and Adam in the slot.
  7. There is nothing painful about trading DJ if Young pans out. It won't matter that we don't have DJ if Young is the man. If Young doesn't pan out, then everyone is getting fired and we're ruined.
  8. The guy behind him seems excited. Yeah i didn't even notice the date. Hopefully Corral doesn't start making "when one door closes, another one opens" type comments this season.
  9. I like Eason, but I can't help put picture Corral looking around the QB room with an angry look on his face for the entire season.
  10. SF is overrun with homeless people. Charlotte is full of transplants and lacks a clear identity or unique feel. CMC is a freakishly talented RB who was always a thrill to watch, but this league is all about who you have under center. CMC can make all the great moves he wants, but if poop Darnold was throwing the ball we weren't going anywhere. Any decent RB will do just fine if Young is the real deal. If he's not, then Fitt is out of other people to blame for his horrendous QB decisions.
  11. My only hard feelings are that it's my understanding that he's counting $18.3 million against our 2023 salary cap. That's an anchor pulling us down, and restructuring his contract in 2022 was not my favorite move if trading him could have been a possibility on the horizon.
  12. If I wasn't a Panthers fan I would have wanted out of here immediately. I would have sped all the way to the airport and never looked back. This franchise was going nowhere and had an empty stadium except for opposing fans. What few Panthers fans were in the stadium were booing Rhule, and looking bewildered at our pitiful offense. You want to play in front of a dozen angry Panthers fans or go battle in the playoffs with the world watching?
  13. With Horn last season it was a hard blow from a helmet right on his wrist, and it was friendly fire to boot. Horn has a kind of track star build and that's going to be a little dangerous injury wise. Even so, that helmet blow would have snapped a lot of wrists. It was just bad luck. Now the foot break had a Mr. Glass kind of feel to it because nothing notable happened. Dude broke his foot by backpedaling. Wtf?
  14. If that happened then you'd be looking at Corral pushing for the starting spot imo.
  15. This upcoming season is a total unknown. The defense is transitioning to a 3-4, we have a rookie QB, and CMC and DJ are gone. 7 or 8 wins sounds reasonable. If we come out and win 11 or 12 games with the current roster and rookie QB, then I would expect a multiple SB mega-dynasty with unstoppable Young. I'm expecting 7 or 8 wins.
  16. It depends on the era, but generally speaking the Falcons are our main rival. We have not really had any kind of rivalry feelings in a long time because our QBs have been Teddy, Sam, PJ, Mayfield, ect. Under those conditions who really cares if we beat the Falcons?
  17. I was going to make a joke that I heard a medication call in the background, but then I realized that this is the Huddle's very own Rippadonn.
  18. If you want to know Fitt's thoughts on Darnold at the time there is plenty of information.
  19. Dragging a mediocre QB into the the playoffs only to lose is a bad thing. It pushes you down the draft board, and you have no hope of winning the SB. Yes an overall great team can pull Darnold along into the playoffs like a boat dragging an anchor, but soon or later that anchor is going to get catch on something. You're not going to make it shore.
  20. You know he's right about Baker being the best prospect, even better than Young. Had we kept Baker we would have won the SB this season as he is that good. - written on an iPhone 2 from Charlotte Mental Institution.
