  1. That has to be an NFL record for injuries in a game!
  2. Probably need to move on from TMJ at this point. He has a lot to prove this season.
  3. Remember our secondary is devastated with injuries.
  4. Expect more sacks from Burns and YGM because the Seattle o-line is devastated.
  5. I'm trying to think of a game that had this many injuries before the half.
  6. Nice WR you found Fitt. He better start catching the ball.
  7. We have no secondary and Seattle has no o-line, so this is going to get more ugly if that's possible.
  8. 00's offense versus 90's offense. The 00's is winning haha.
  9. I feel like 17 points would be the magic number for the Hawks to beat us with Young. Not sure about Dalton.
  10. Please don't expect big rushing lanes to open and stay open against all the teams we play this season. It's a sliding scale and it varies based on the strength and speed of the run defense we're facing. Sometimes a hole opens and closes quickly, and that's where anticipation and quick decision making comes into play, and that's why Miles is looking overpaid. If he were processing the situation quickly then the o-line would look a lot better. We're not just going to open big rushing lanes that stay open against every team we play. If that were the case, then every game we play would look like the Falcons game last season and we'd go 17-0. A RB has to make hay even when there isn't much there, which was what made CMC great.
  11. There seems to be some confusion on here about Chuba and Miles. Chuba is not a quick burst type of runner, he is north and south and needs to build up his speed as he goes. Miles is a quick burst runner, quicker than Chuba. You may like Chuba's burst at the line more than Miles', but Miles is quicker and faster and has more burst. The problem is what they are seeing at the line and that's effecting how they look. Chuba knows what he's seeing at the ling and makes a quick decision to hit the hole and try and build up speed and power. Miles looks at the line and he's unsure what he's seeing or what to do. He's not anticipation which hole is about to open. This leads to indecision, hesitation, false steps, and missed opportunities. That doesn't mean that Chuba has better burst. He doesn't. He's probably just smarter than miles at reading what is going on, or Miles is still learning the offense.
  12. I watch all Panthers games. It's just a matter of if I watch this one live or not. I sort of already know the outcome, so it's no that exciting.
  13. It's my understanding that the OC will take the reigns this season, and I have a feeling things are not going to improve, and then...
  14. I would think the OC would get canned first, then Frank and Beans would get canned at the end of the second season if Young doesn't play well. That would also mean the end of Fitt imo.
  15. Fitt to me is basically a nightmare. Every time a big decision pops up he does the opposite of what I want. That doesn't mean I'm saying he's a bad GM, but rather I'm saying the decisions he makes are not what I want for the team. I nearly imploded when he traded for Sam, and I still don't think my soul has recovered from that one. I'm not really going to get into everything he's done that I didn't want, but I'll leave it at he never does what I want. I'm not going to say he's a bad GM until after he's done here. Maybe this will all pan out and I'm not seeing the bigger picture. Gettleman had the cold blooded nature that I like in a GM, but he directed it at the wrong vets and the right vets alike. I only wanted Gettleman to be ruthless to marginal or overpaid players, not ring of honor Panthers players. I liked his almost psychopathic lack of caring for the middle guys and the scrubs, but you don't do that to Panthers legends. Also Gettleman's ability to evaluate players in the draft was lower than Hurney's, and Hurney was no savant. Gettleman's drafting made me want him gone asap. Vernon Butler anyone? Did you want him? Hurney drafted some truly amazing superstar football players. I wanted Cam at the time, and I said he was going to run wild in the NFL, and I got pooped on here for saying that, and people said that wouldn't work in the NFL. That he could only do that in college. Marty went for it, and that was a great move at a time when the Huddle mostly wanted anyone else but Cam. The problem with Marty was that he didn't do well enough in the later rounds of the draft, and he was too buddy buddy with the players. He would sign a good player to a bank breaking mega deal when he should have been more like Gettleman and let them go. For instance, the Charles Johnson mega-deal for 72 million for 6 years in 2011 cap money, or the double trouble deals. It was just getting out of hand. He had to go, but he put the pieces in place for the 2015 run that Gettleman got credit for, and we had the better team in the SB. That should have been a SB win. We have not yet had a good GM imo, but I'm still going to wait on Fitt. It's not looking good atm though.
  16. Turn the helmet away from BOA. It shouldn't have to watch these games.
