  1. What I gather from this is that Cam is done here, and Rhule is trying to evaluate Sam to see if we should have him back next season. If Sam has a bad finish to the season, then imo both Sam and Cam will be out the door. I shudder to think what new poop QB Rhule will find next as it's clear Rhule and not Fitt is the one who is calling the shots.
  2. Any older defensive players need to go, along with players who are not elite specimen who are looking for a big payday. That means Gilmore and Jackson both need to hit the bricks. Carter can stay for cheap. No matter how we shuffle the defense next season will be a losing season. At best we'll be starting a rookie QB, and at worst we'll find another veteran QB who other teams don't want. Either way we need to stay young on defense because we're not doing anything next season.
  3. We loaded up on defense and our defense is trash. The Bucs, who scored ZERO points the game prior, just scored 32 points on us like it was nothing. The thing that kills me is that we could have had Sam for nothing. Instead we gave away our second and forth for him. That one still stings.
  4. The worry about the defense is that although it's cheap right now those 1st round picks and pro bowl, or almost made the pro bowl, players are going to want big fat contracts. Well don't have an o-line and we don't have a franchise QB, so spending a lot of money on defense would be insane. Yet Rhule is going to want Fitt to lock up his favorite defensive players, and then we're really going to hurt when we get out asses handed to us and we have a defense that is costing a fortune. I said all along don't bring in Teddy, and don't bring in Sam. Furthermore don't bring in Minshew Mania or Jimmy G. That isn't the answer to building a SB winning team. You build a SB winning team the way the Coboys have done it. The Cowboys are a threat to win the SB this season because they have a brick wall o-line, franchise QB, weapons, and a good RB. On defense they are cheap and scrappy/opportunistic. Perfect. We're headed to being the exact opposite of the Cowboys. We'll have a turnstile o-line, terrible QB, an always injured weapon, and an extremely expensive and underachieving defense. That is how you end up being one of the top 5 worst teams in the NFL. We're built 100% incorrectly. The blueprint is idiotic to the point where it seems intentional. Like Rhule is trying to run us into the ground. Just look at our draft pick situation for further evidence. OUR PICKS ARE GONE! This is awful.
  5. The highlight of this season for me is when that Vikings fan got beat up.
  6. My philosophy is no mega deals to RBs and LBs.
  7. CMC is our highlight player, but he's not built to run it up the middle all the time. Especially when the opposing team knows exactly what play we're running the entire game. When you don't have a franchise QB you need to find one first and foremost. Bringing in a veteran QB triggers the QB limbo loop.
  8. The 2010 team was worse. Pickles just threw check downs except for one bomb to Smith. I could go out there and throw check downs. That 2010 team was a nightmare and worse than this team.
  9. The killer is that next season is almost certainly going to be bad as well.
  10. If Taysom Hill comes off the COVID list and can play with his finger injury, then we will lose imo. If Hill can't play then we'll win imo. So yeah we're in danger.
  11. I lost my mind during the SF playoff game yelling at the refs. Yeah refs are fair game.
  12. Sports are all about cheers and jeers. Yay boo yay boo. I don't boo players or coaches, but I understand why some fans go that route. They're still fans and they're needed as a part of the sports environment.
  13. I don't know why he said "self-destructs on itself" as that is redundant, but he wants fans to twist in the wind over both wanting the Panthers to lose for draft position and wanting to win for Cam.
