In all-22 when Foreman got to play he missed the holes and ran into the backs of our o-linemen. They pulled him out when they saw him doing that. I know the Huddle loves him, but he blows.

Welp… Stroud is the guy, right?

Welp let me go head over to the mock draft simulator and you know what that thing off. -
Well I'm not looking forward to the next time we play the 49ers and CMC eats us alive.
-
I think we're going to bring in an offensive minded HC, but I'm asking you.
-
Do you think we're keeping Wilks as HC?
-
And keep CMC if no one accepts the offer?
-
Wilks should probably prepare for unemployment tba.
-
If Fitt didn't want the awful QBs we brought here (and Rhule is to blame) then Tepper should have NEVER allowed a structure where the GM is under the HC for personnel moves. What's worse is if Fitt had to basically lie to the public about wanting the crap QBs Rhule forced him to bring here. I don't know if that is some sort of conspiracy theory or what, but the whole structure is rotten if true,
-
With the way he ruined the team I would think you'd want some revenge. j/k.
-
Didn't Rhule say something to the opposite of that? Like he had his hands full coaching and didn't want GM duties.
-
Would you be afraid that Sam would become detached and start playing poorly? Oh wait.. j/k.
-
So you think Rhule wanted Sam, and Fitt fought him privately?
-
Rhule is gone now. Seems like he is free to come out and say he didn't want Sam. Has he said anything? I would. Would you?
-
Fitt was supposed to say WHAT THE FOCK HE ACTUALLY THOUGHT. OMGF.
-
The rest of the plan would be to unload other non-oline vet players and draft CJ Stroud.
-
I watched Fitt talk up Sam in draft talk footage and he sold him hard. And his idiot scouts went along with kissing his ass and acting like Sam just needed a good system and coaching.
-
These teams will need to improve their offers but he can be had imo.
-
I'm ok with the CMC trade it's not a terrible back breaking move by Fitt. Fitt destroyed our team with the legendary Sam trade that no one in the entire state of NC wanted or thought was a good idea except Fitt and his idiot scouts.
-
The trade value is less than ideal, but remember that the most important even for this team in many years is the 2023 NFL draft. By trading CMC we all be guarantee the number 1 overall pick so we can take any QB we want. That is above all else the best thing to come from the CMC trade. The picks are not bad but not great value, but the best thing is the #1 overall pick. Think about what we need. It's nearly in our grasp. It's right there. Just lose out.
-
It's not a great trade for us value wise, but it does help to ensure that we lose out for the rest of the season. We now have no chance of beating the rest of the teams we play this season, and that's perfect for drafting our savior QB in 2023 draft. You have to consider that CMC will be near the end of his career by the time have a good football team. Yes I wanted more for him, but Fitt is not good at getting deals done in our favor. Look at CJ, Sam, things have not gone well. Even so, this needed to happen. Now trade Shaq and DJ if possible. Keep the o-line in tact. Do NOT trade Moton.
-
Yes this is now purposefully tanking the season, and it's the right thing to do.
-
Stunner: Panthers are trading Pro-Bowl RB Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for draft picks, sources tell ESPN. McCaffrey returns to the Bay Area, where he attended Stanford.
-
Panthers "listening" on Shaq Thompson also
pantherj replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Any vets not on the o-line should be available for trade. We need to get younger and let the vets go play for better teams. However, vets on the o-line need to stay in order to protect our 2023 rookie QB. I don't want much turnover on the o-line, so Moton stays imo. We might want to upgrade Pat to a better center in FA or the draft, but no downgrades. -
You have to set this up timing wise. You have to think of making things as easy as possible for your rookie QB. The d-line can be upgraded later. 2023: Round 1 - QB obviously. Round 2 - This comes down to either a center or TE. The reason for a center is because Pat is inconsistent at pass protection, and we CANNOT have our rookie taking pressure up the middle and getting hurt physically and mentally. This is not an option imo. Our rookie decides our fate for SEVERAL years onward. He must have a wonderful premium o-line that makes things easy, and makes it easy to evaluate him. Think about how the Browns built an elite o-line, and then were able to properly evaluate Mayfield and dump him on us thanks to moron Fitt. We need to be smarter as well. Also, TE is another option in the second round. The reasoning is that QBs who don't know what they are doing LOVE a big target TE build like an NBA forward posting up in the middle of the field. You can always just dump it to the TE and there is a decent chance of a completion if you keep the ball placement high. This would do wonders for our rookie, but center would be a bigger priority. 2024 would be a good opportunity to draft a #WR to pair with DJ with our 1st round pick. 2025 would be the time to look at a DE who is 6'5ish and can rush the passer and stop the run with our 1st round pick. You have to get the timing right and know what is most important. If we do things out of order we could end up with a trembling traumatized QB who is totally ruined, and then it won't matter who we have at DE. Our team with be 100% ruined, not matter the DE or MLB, They don't decided the fate of the team.
