And never forget about Fitt sitting at his round table with his scouts talking about how great Sam Darnold could be if we traded for him. They don't have a clue. Their next pick at QB might pan out, but it would be a lucky guess.

Fitt and our scouts don't have a clue which top QB prospect will make it in the NFL, if any. Their past guesses didn't pan out. Our new HC brought in a lot of QBs after Luck left, and it got him fired because they didn't pan out either if memory serves. My point is stay put if you want to take a QB. Don't go throwing away future first round picks on your wild damn guess. Spend our 1 first round pick on a QB, or pick up one in the second round, that way if Fitt and is scouts are dead wrong again we have another 1st round pick coming up to take another shot.

I don't want us trading up for undersized Young, or potential major flop Will Levis. Stay put if you want Levis especially.

Based on the mock draft simulations and current player valuations I'd say we're looking at a high probability of taking a QB in the first, and a TE in the second or third round. But of course the player valuations will change between now and the draft.

The Panthers typically have done what I didn't want them to do under Fitt. Loading up our defense with guys who will now want mega contracts is probably the worst part. Not trading Brian "no show" Burns, whose terrible performance against TB basically cost us the playoffs, still makes me cringe. So what would be the worst thing we could reasonably do in the draft with FItt in control? I would be upset if we traded up for Will Levis. That makes me worry that Fitt is planning to do just that. He'll wait until Levis is near our pick and trade up, which would be exactly what I don't want to happen.

another option than trading for the first pick...

What you don't want is CJ, Young, Levis, and Richardson all gone before we pick. The hope is that Richardson is there at 9th, and I am fine with taking him there. -

That's from the crazy PFN draft simulator that I just ran. -

This draft actually has a lot of talented QBs. We can stay put imo and still grab a good prospect. Don't go crazy for CJ Fitt. He's boom or bust. Be careful. -
EASY Fitt EASY. Oh god.

Tepper admits to mistake in hiring Matt Rhule
pantherj replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well this shows Tepper will admit when he's wrong and learn from his mistakes. I'm glad he's not set in his ways and can hold himself accountable when it's justified. -

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we don't trade up. -
Yeah he pulled his helmet up after the 3rd time the filmed him.

Guy told me to bet on KC because 80% of betters were taking the Bengals and Vegas was not going to lose that kind of money.

Injured, the pocket collapsing in on him, and a focking rope to the endzone.

OMFG! What a pass!

He was down.
