I'm kind of surprised at the overjoyed reaction to this signing, but hey more power to you. I'm worried about finding a #1 WR, and the mother of all decisions coming up in the draft.

Depends on how things fall. We could take a developmental TE like Kuntz in the 4th, and build up his strength in the weight room and he could become a #1 TE. Or if a guy like Mayer is there then pull the trigger. The second round talent at WR are slot receivers.

I'm thinking we don't need anymore marginally talented players who have a connection to the coaching staff. We could sign a veteran backup center. All I really care about is getting a WR before the draft.

Guys... they are making this stuff up. I'd rather not have a thread about every bs story, but I understand some fans like it. -
There are a bunch of slot receivers in the second round, but no real #1 WRs worthy of that pick. We need to either trade back up into the 1st round for a #1, or trade for a WR from some other team, or get a FA. One of these things is going to happen imo. The again, Fitt just foolishly restructured Jackson so he might do something else stupid with the WR situation.

This isn't a surprise to me as I had a string of illustrations showing his missing rushing lanes last season. He probably wanted some serious money, and honestly he is easy to replace. I like cheap young RBs with fresh legs... wait that doesn't sound right. Never mind.
