  1. I don't really remember the last Panthers game I was excited for. Thank you for benching Bryce Canales.
  2. I've heard of Perc Rodgers, but Benzo Young? I think you're on to something.
  3. If we land a top quality QB in the 2025 draft, then we can possibly be good in 2026. If we pick another bust QB, then kick the can further down the road. That's why when it's between Young and Stroud you have to have a GM who knows which one is better. Like Dan Morgan, his staff, and Canales have to identify the right QB. Our fate rides on who they find. The rest is easily fixed once a QB is in place. Best case scenario, we're good in 2026.
  4. We don't want Andy throwing the ball a lot. He's the type where he looks good and everything is going fine and then he throws a brainless pick. We need a little razzle dazzle and run the ball. The defense has got to keep the score lowish because if we have to throw a lot to try and catch up we're cooked.
  5. We'll know in the coming years if he's good or not, but I don't have any problem with the last draft. He didn't take the players I wanted, but he did some nice trade backs and appeared to get decent value. The key is the next QB we draft, and Dan will defer to Canales on that.
  6. The worst case scenario is that Dan doesn't know what he's doing and we face several more years of disastrous failure. Hope and pray (or petition the universe if you're atheist) that Dan knows what he's doing as GM.
  7. Fitt was insane and filled our owner with idiotic notions of Bryce being some sort of Steph Curry who was going to distribute the ball around and allow us to focus our spending on defense. Those ideas didn't come from Tepper, they came from our former resident idiot Fitt. Fitt, who thought all we needed to do was drop a QB into place since we had all the other pieces in place. The GM is the critical piece to all of this mess.
  8. Dalton is no world beater, but Bryce doesn't belong in the QB room with him. No contest Andy is considerably better. At least we can look forward to some positive plays on offense on Sunday. Then we hit the draft in 2025 looking for a QB. Fair enough.
  9. Young has looked liked one the worst QBs I've ever seen start in the NFL. If Tepper sped up him getting benched I hardly care at all. Flush the toilet. Fitt's mistakes here will haunt all of us until we've been rid of the specter of his blunders. That means clearing out his busted picks including the most impotent, emotionless, sometimes sad sack QB ever, Bryce Young.
  10. I like Dalton and I think he'll make the games more fun to watch on Sundays. He's a real pro in that he'll step up into the pocket and deliver the ball. He should have a good clean pocket with our extremely expensive interior o-linemen. Dalton will throw a dumb pick here and there, but so did Brady. Just play like a pro QB and we've got a chance.
  11. Another game no one will remember a year from now, and few will actually watch. I'll record the game and watch our offense only at a later time. No need to watch this live and sit through commercials. Pointless game.
  12. 3 types of fans. 1. The pessimist. No matter how good the team, he has a little snippy remark or dig to make, and underestimates the team. You'll hear from him most when the team is actually good. "Well if so and so doesn't play well we're probably going to lose. We've beaten a bunch of bad teams, but we're going to play ______ soon, and then we'll be in trouble." 2.) The optimist. No matter how bad the team is, or how bleak and or grim the future looks, the optimist has a positive feeling about the situation that he can't quite place. Makes "The team isn't that bad, and the future looks bright" type of comments. 3.) The realist. Tends to be long winded, pointing out both the positive and negative aspects of the situation, and stays in the middle of the road. "Maybe so... could go either way." So the forum will be [optimist] versus [pessimist] with the [realist] moderating for those of you who are new here.
  13. We're looking at a career backup QB and we traded the farm for him. Fitt truly was one of the all time worst GM's in NFL history.
  14. I saw a Saints fan comforting a Panthers fan like this on Sunday.
  15. I'd consider paying the $1.80 if I knew we'd use Wildcat the entire game. I'll never watch Young in person not even for free. I have a life.
  16. And now Derrick Brown is injured and probably done for the season.
  17. I turned it off at halftime. No need to watch the rest. The outcome was certain.
