I like my hats like a like my women, curvy

We've turned a corner as far as the talent level on this team is concerned. We now have enough talent and experience to expect a winning season imo. We have one of the best defenses in the league, but our weak offense will probably limit us to a one and done playoff appearance. It's hard to beat tough defensive teams or explosive offensive teams without big plays on offense. Dink and dunk with a lot of incomplete passes won't work for long in the playoffs. Prediction: Winning season. Early exit from the playoffs.

I don't think it's sad at all. Round up the all rapists, molesters, and violent psychopaths and lock them up. If they're guilty then they should be punished to the maximum extent of the law. But let's also realize that some of the women involved might be baiting NFL players into a trap to get paid. Not all women are mentally healthy and well meaning, some are crafty psychopaths looking to scam men and get paid.

He's not a suspect, and I've been reading that every team in the NFL is interested in him, and yes even the Panthers.

NFL Draft Rounds 2 & 3 General Discussion Thread - Now Open

Damn I was hoping for Devon Smith. Just the type of WR we need. -
God I hope what he said leaks out to the media. The Cowboys are going to catch sh!t all year. So glad he's gone.

Sports writers who don't watch NFC South games go by QB as to who will win the NFCS. The Pecking order is: 1.) Drew Brees 2.) Matt Ryan 3.) Cam Newton 4.) TB QB. So they predict: Saints Falcons Carolina TB If you press them on it, then they will go and look up who the best Saints offensive players, and list their names, and predict they will have a huge season. Same if you question the Falcons over the Panthers. It's the same script every season because they don't watch NFCS games, but they still want to have their say and be an authority on the NFCS. When we face the Facons, they predict that Julio (or whoever their best WR is at the time) will go off and lead them to an easy win. Same thing with the Saints. Recently I read an NFCS prediction picking the Saints to win the South. The analyst went and looked up who the Saints best players were on offense, and then listed drew Brees the Saints RBs as the main reason. He's convinced that the Saints RBs will go off this season. Just be wary of these write ups because they're doing the least amount of research possible, and know next to nothing about small market teams in the south. They know the Giants and Pats down to the water boy and newest cheerleader, but can't name 3 Panther players and do NOT watch our games. None of them. They're watching highlights on ESPN at best.

Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
pantherj replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
There is a double standard when it comes to male and female violence. Had Hardy thrown a man into a bed full of guns he would still be on the team. -
Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy
pantherj replied to dswofford's topic in Carolina Panthers
I said all along that Hardy wasn't coming back and that JR would be the reason. JR is nearing the end of his life and he's more concerned with his legacy than he is about winning football games. Hardy tarnished JR's legacy and he was emotionally devastated by it (see the crying video). Hardy could offer to play for the vet minimum and we wouldn't have him back. It's personal for JR. -
Cowboys in negotiations with Greg Hardy?
pantherj replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't think I'll ever understand the media's overreaction to the Greg Hardy situation. The instant I saw JR blubbering in that video I knew we'd never see Hardy play another snap for Carolina. Does Hardy have a mental illness? Who knows? If the gold digger was being honest about what happened, then Hardy is mentally ill, and it's likely he'll act out again leading to another suspension. If the gold digger was lying, then we really got screwed by the whorish media and our puss owner. With Hardy we might have beaten Seattle and won the SB. I'm not saying that's likely, but it could have happened. We now have to rely on developing Kony Ealy, and I hope he's not a bust. I wish I wasn't in the position of hoping Hardy stays out of the NFC, but I would think he'd try to sign with a top team no matter which conference. Last FA I thought was a total disaster. I (and all of sports media) thought Cotchery and Avant were terrible, and it turns out they were. Avant was cut, and Cotchery did jack poo. At the end of the season Gettleman blamed our cap problems for why he brought in poo WRs. This FA we've brought in Oher, Ginn, and some guys no one has ever heard of. If I'm leaving someone out it's because I don't care. We're not winning a SB with this offense. Seattle, GB, or some other top NFC team will shut this offense down and bounce us out of the playoffs. We need offensive weapons and O-line improvements. The answer is not Ginn and Oher. Seattle will make Ginn and Oher their bitches. So now it's down to the draft because Gettleman is broke, or doesn't like what's out there value wise. We're stuck looking to the draft for immediate starters at the WR position. Not good. -
Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle
pantherj replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
The knock on Oher coming out of college was his technique and awareness. His technique was pretty bad at times and would sometimes block the wrong person as though he didn't know what play was being run. Physically he's a freak of nature. If he were more intelligent he could make the Pro Bowl imo, but so far he's been a disappointment. He plays like he's lazy and doesn't want to exert the effort to use proper technique. It's my guess that Gettleman is seeing that and thinking "if I can get him to fight and work hard he'll be amazing!" Yeah well good luck, but we need a plan b. -
Now the pressure is really on for the draft. It has to be a home run. #caphell

Seems like some pot stirring going on here. I think we can all agree that we need impact players on offense. Standing pat and hoping things pan out in the draft, which is in many way a crap shoot, is of course risky. We have limited funds of course, but we need an impact WR. A guy who can perform consistently even against defenses like Seattle. A rookie WR is going to go through growing pains and have ups and downs, or might not pan out at all. I'm hoping we make a major move for a proven WR, but my concern is that we'll wait around for cheap scrubs who won't accomplish much, and won't matter against Seattle, or other top defenses in the playoffs. See Cotchery. It's time to make a move, and then we can draft for the future.
-
We'll have to wait until all the best players are gone and the cheap scrubs are still floating around contemplating a new career. Then Gettleman will strike.
-
Now that I just can't believe. I mean he is washed up, but shouldn't he end his career with the Saints? And what about his massive contract? Am I dreaming? Omg if this happens...

Saints deal TE Jimmy Graham to Seahawks
pantherj replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
God seeing the Saints crumble is so sweet. Brees is washed up and now Jimmy is gone. Bwahaha! Even though I had to go through the pain of seeing us sign Oher this makes it all better. Saints make their death kneel. Oh well plan for the future Saints, and we'll take the south again. -
I wouldn't have a problem with not signing a FA tackle. We're pained into a corner in that we have to acquire a good OT. The alternative is possibly watching Cam screaming and clutching his knee or some other body part. Chandler (terrible), a player Gettleman gave a 2 year contract to and RR started, came inches away from destroying Cam's knees on several occasions. I don't believe in signing terrible players to our team. Gettleman does. He signed terrible WRs, and then blamed our cap problems after the fact. Now we've signed a terrible OT. I bitched about it. You're damn right.
