I've been watching this style of football my entire time as a Panthers fan.

John Fox era - game manager QB, good defense, rely on Steve Smith. Ron Rivera era - game manager QB, good defense, rely on Cam's running. Rhule era - game manager QB, good defense, rely on CMC.

It never occurred to me that Chubba was this level of terrible. We needed to draft a good quality RB.

Basically Darnold is a game manager, and so long as we have CMC's explosive plays we're good. Take him away and we have a game manager trying to make big plays and looking down field for twice as long as he should
