Tepper has just realized that the guys we brought in don't know what they're doing. No clue. I'm sure Tepper is in shock and ready to clean house.

We don't have good coaches. We don't have good talent evaluators. The f-ing Huddle knew better about Sam. The Huddle knew better. Let that sink in. We know more than our talent evaluators. That's sad.

We have NO backup plan for bringing in a PROVEN loser. No one one roster. No one. PJ should be an assistant coach at some backwater high school. We've got nothing. Could have had Fields in the waiting even if he doesn't become a star.
-
Fields could have been our backup plan if captain interception didn't pan out, but Rhule was so arrogant that he thought our coaching couldn't fail. Just fire Rhule. Start over.
-
I'm counting the days until the people most responsible for the Sam debacle are fired. And we picked up his 5th year option without seeing him play a single game for us. HOLY POOP. A proven loser.
-
Sam was a loser when Rhule had a stroke and decided he wanted him here. I want Rhule to go through a brain scan. No other team wanted Sam. No one here wanted him.
-
I just wanted anyone but Sam who was a proven loser at the time.

Watch this team go out and beat the Cardinals on Sunday
pantherj replied to Hayden Panettiere's topic in Carolina Panthers
Is this the Hayden Panettier loving Jangler of the past? The Panthers are kind of well built to beat the Cards actually except we have a moron at QB. AZ typically has a light d-line built on speed, and the Panthers o-line can run block well. This points to the Panthers running the ball well against the light up front Cards. Good match up fro us, but Sam is a interception throwing buffoon. Dude is as dumb as he looks, and could probably get work in Hollywood as the bully in a high school movie. He's just ruined all of our Sundays, and he's going to make a fortune. -
Taking that 18.9 million salary cap hit for Darnold, coupled with CMC, DJ, and a few others hitting payday will pretty much ensure we'll be in some degree of cap hell. We'll have to find budget free agents imo. That being said we're not going to have a good 2022 no matter the cap space. That 18.9 million is just the final nail in an already mostly sealed coffin. It's over. Our only chance is Watson, and Fitterer is turning his nose up at the asking price, so March might not yield any results either. If we don't like Watson's price tag, then we have to hit reboot on the rebuild. Bringing in another journeyman veteran QB would cause me to stop watching the Panthers, and I've been following them year round for a long time. That's how much I don't want another veteran QB. Why? Veteran QBs help your team win enough games to not have a top 10 pick, and that is unacceptable to me. Winning meaningless games with a vet does nothing but keep our team in QB limbo. I'm out if we bring in another vet unless his is Watson. Otherwise 2022 needs to be more Sam or PJ to ensure we have a top 5 or 10 draft pick. Trading CMC for future draft capital is a great idea if we can find a fair offer. We need to trade Gilmore as well. Goodbye Paradis and Erving. 2022 needs to be about building the o-line and letting Sam finish his contract. 2023 would yield a top 5 draft pick imo, and that should be spend on a QB assuming someone is worthy. 2024 would yield another top 5 or 10 draft pick to spend as needed. 2025 would be our first possible winning season assuming the QB panned out. If he busts, then 2026 would see another QB at the helm. I don't want the slow rebuild. We've got to get Watson somehow, or do something else on Sundays until about 2025.

It's down to: A.) Watson B.) A scrub veteran C.) A risky draft pick who will take at least a season of losing to develop Given Rhule's previous decisions we are getting option B. I would chose option A. Option C means a lot of pain.

Teddy B I’m sorry, it wasn’t all your fault!
pantherj replied to BurnNChinn's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah if Teddy were here we would have more wins, but a lower draft pick and less heat on Rhule. Amazingly Rhule brought in a worse QB and put himself in a dire situation. -
Which trade was worse 2nd for Darnold or 3rd for Henderson?
pantherj replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sam has done and will do the most damage by far. Hell Sam might get Rhule fired. -

pantherj replied to BurnNChinn's topic in Carolina Panthers
Teddy wasn't the answer because we'd never win the SB with him. Sam isn't the answer because we'll never make the playoffs with him. -

We have a bleak future at the moment because we didn't land Watson, and we passed on Fields. We have nothing right now, and the upcoming draft is looking to be slim pickings. -

pantherj replied to BurnNChinn's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes PJ is not a proper backup or prospect. PJ is an example of Rhule's nepotism and cronyism. -

1 - 5 QB scale. Teddy - 3. Sam - 2. We'd be lucky to have Teddy over Sam right now. -
Sam Darnold will be Jimmy Clausen 2.0
