  1. Its not really even about stats or wins and losses at this point, Bryce doesnt even look like he is the same species as Stroud and AR.
  2. If BY can’t make that throw, he is the biggest bust of all time. I’m going to go with he either didn’t see him or his confidence is shot and he hesitated too long.
  3. Every throw Bryce has made, AR and Stroud have made with more zip and less effort, on top of making throws BY has yet to shown he can make. Its crazy, the #1 pick is not better at a single thing over those selected after him.
  4. Only silver lining I can think of from BY busting is hopefully the embarrassment from it on top of the Rhule hiring finally gets Tepper to stop meddling.
  5. Obviously this is 1 play but it is entirely on Bryce. https://x.com/seifertespn/status/1708842144146784613?s=46&t=I38NvOmDZiyKbXhcmib19g and yes our online isn’t great but as mentioned by Brady Quinn during the broadcast, no other qb in the league holds onto the ball as long as Bryce. Not sure if that’s a BY issue or coaching issue but they aren’t doing the line any favors.

  7. Lol, he underthrew it... to a dude being held.
  8. Olsen was no better then Hurst when he was traded here, and Shockey was on his last legs. Cams supporting cast was for sure better but let's not act like part of it wasnt because they were elevated by a QB that could take advantage of them. Bryce wouldn't attempt half the throws Cam was throwing to Smitty that year.
  9. Once Rivera's seat started to get hot, he forced Cam into becoming more of game manager instead of letting him take risks/grow. McDermott def took note and didn't panic with Josh Allens early struggles.
  10. Im not saying not throwing to your first read is a bad thing, Im saying your conclusion of "Despite getting pressured heavily, Young is still managing to make his reads " is wrong. Just because he isnt throwing to his first read, doesnt mean he's making his reads properly, and he's getting pressured because he is holding onto the ball too long. Im not trying to say its his fault, Im saying none of these graphs are showing its not his fault.
  11. He is holding the ball too long, and doesn't seem to trust his first read. Graph below is basically inverse of OP graph, IE Tua and TLaw get rid of ball early and trust their first read so they don't get pressured as much.
  12. It's not even that he's just small, he doesn't even have the athleticism to make up for it. He not only got sacked by a shoulder brush, but got ran down by like he was a child a couple of times. There should be SOMETHING tangible to point to when you draft a guy 1 overall. I don't doubt he's going to play better moving forward, but giving up so much for such a low ceiling is ridiculous.
  13. trading away basically the next draft and 1 of the best young receivers to get your pick of the litter only to select someone whos ceiling is a poor mans tua is crazy
  14. The silver lining of Rhule's incompetence was playing Luvu so little his first year so no one else knew about him and we could resign him for cheap.
  15. They have F you money now, sure, but 2004 when he signed the conservatorship could have been a different story. Doubt they were broke then either, but 100k to someone with 10 mil net worth is a lot more then to someone with 200+ mil. I also don't think the conservatorship was about them enriching themselves, more so making it look less sketchy he was going to the school they were boosters for, and the book/movie benefits were just happy accidents. I would really like to know how much influence the family had in the story of the book/movie, because it seems like while Oher was at college focusing on football they fabricated a story to make it seem like he would have nothing without them when in reality, the odds of him still getting to the NFL without them was a million times better than the Touhys getting an Oscar winning movie about them and all the benefits/opportunities that went along with it.
  16. Horn is gonna go back to being "Hiden" again for awhile because teams aren't going to be trying him again after this game.
  17. Never thought i'd say this about a coach, but Rhule was a cancer. The team just seems more alive and is fun to watch again, win or lose.
  18. Imagine iif we had a 6'5 tank of a QB thats no worse at passing then what we've had the past 2 seasons to pick that up easily.
  19. Ya this looks just as bad on the defensive coaches as the offensive, if not worse. Jesus.
  20. Lol Sam didn’t account for a TD in 5 straight games. Cam had 9 in his first 5 games here, even with the stinker he had against MIA. As for Rhule, he actually said Darnold had the same skill set as Cam(possibly the greatest short yardage backs) when he kept Sam in for a failed 4th and goal at the end of the season. If that doesn’t indicate clear bias I don’t know what does.
  21. 2020 Cam - 368 Pass attempts, 7.2 Y/A with Byrd, Meyers, whoever their TE was. 2021 Jimmy G - 441 Pass attempt, 8.6 Y/A with Deebo, Aiyuk, and Kittle. Also, Cam's 9 TDs in his first 5 games this year was top third of the league for QB scoring during that span. That being said, I would rather not him come back for both parties sake. Best case scenario is Rhule sets aside his petty agenda against him and Cam balls out, helps save Ratt's job, and we lose draft position.
