Everyone knows you don’t fight someone like that. You get their name and slowly over several years work yourself into their life buying a house nearby and getting a job with their spouse. Slowly seduce their spouse and convince them how bad the other guy is over a year or two of subtle jabs. Once you’ve banged and they get separated let him know you’ve won the fight.

I think this team gets better as the season goes on, probably at best 5 wins.

Rather get Justin Jefferson for a conditional 6th and Ja’marr Chase for a conditional 7th and both teams cover their cap hit.

What bothers me is an observation I’ve made for years, why is every open deep route pass missed by Carolina but the same pass goes through 2 defenders for a miracle catch for our opponents?

Thing is I stopped caring years ago, I only come back to the Huddle out of habit.

I’m honestly a realistic person, I don’t expect playoffs year 1 but if we’re anything less than a 7 win team then it’s clear management bungled everything. You don’t trade to #1 giving up a lot of high picks and top WR to not expect improvement over an idiot in Rhule and interim coach. You make that trade if you feel comfortable in your roster, have confidence in your coaches and feel like moving to #1 to get Bryce Young is the missing piece. Otherwise it’s a multi year rebuild you just hamstrung by giving up all your material to build around.
