Better sell your copies of NCAA football 14 before the value tanks.

I could honestly see a swap of Derek Carr for Teddy Bridgewater and a 2nd rounder. Would give Gruden a backup option in Las Vegas to Mariota and remove the potential blow back if Mariota fails and Carr is sitting in the wings saying I told you so.

Meh, I'd rather draft pieces for a future QB than sell the farm for one guy who could easily get Cam Newton'd.

Teams already reaching out to Detroit for Stafford

Maybe instead of reaching out we should reach around. -

How about our 2nd rounder and Teddy? -
Maybe convert it to a Tom of Finland fan forum?

Yeah...but we didn't get an "A" grade from ESPN, so what about that? ESPN has the best experts in football working on these grades so why haven't we run Gettleman out of town yet?

Four Carolina Panthers Round Two Prospects

I think we trade up in the 3rd where there's still value and the cost will be drastically less. -
Carolina Panthers will target offense in round one
Riverboat Ron replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Based on Walterfootball's list of WR rankings, we'll take Corey Coleman since we took the 2014 and 2015 highest bust potential player. http://walterfootball.com/draft2016positionreviewWR.php -

I wouldn't count out OT Germain Ifedi if he's still on the board, we've met with him and you have to consider both our starting OT's are free agents next year. -
Carolina Panthers Mock Draft Rounds 1 - 3

Also think about with a DT in the 1st that means you have him locked in for 5 years. Sign Short to a 4 year deal at age 27 or 28 and ends when he's 31 or 32, just in time for the 1st rounders contract when Shorts ends. -
Carolina Panthers Mock Draft Rounds 1 - 3

If we were to trade up to get Lawson in the early 2nd, I'd probably go with either Vernon Butler, Sheldon Rankins (if he falls), or a CB like William Jackson III. In reality if this did happen, I could see a combo of Derrick Henry and Shaq Lawson (or a DE that falls). -

Is Kony Ealy the next great Panthers defensive end?
Riverboat Ron replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
How the Giants, Chiefs and Browns passed over Gettleman boggles my mind, the guy has one of the best eyes for talent I've seen in a long time. -

Imagine if Carolina keeps Big Money, then does a sign and trade for Norman getting a 2016 1st from the Raiders or Jags. The possibilities would be endless with a GM like Gettleman. We could end up with two first rounders a second and possibly two thirds in the unlikely event we get a compensatory for Hardy. -
Carolina Panthers Top 3 Offseason Priorities
Riverboat Ron replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'd hate to lose Norman, seems like a really cool guy. A sign and trade would be ideal for both parties but Norman brings a presence we've never had at corner.
