    Fair point. When watching replays Robby had the ball in his hands before the secondary contact. He really should have made that catch. He’s being paid enough to make that catch. Smitty made a living off making catches like that.

    Oh - and I fully expected Howell to look better early on. He ran a more pro style offense in college, so of course the transition will be easier. This game says nothing about career success. Heck they might both be stars or might both be out of the league in a few years

    No way to gauge a players future success in his first preseason game surrounded by guys who won’t be on a gameday roster. Sure he looked bad. Also had a few balls dropped and had zero protection. Give the kid a couple years
