    Wouldn’t shock me to see us trade back either in the 4th or 5th to collect a 6th rounder. for example, we could trade 114 to Arizona for 122 and 180 (3rd pick of the 6th).

    Interesting article. Fitt makes it clear they panicked a little as DEs came off the board fast. Sounds like Johnson was the last DE on our board that we liked, so we had to be aggressive to get him. It is what it is…we only gave up a late 4th. like someone said earlier, I’m actually happy we went offense in the 2nd the more I think about it. Offensive teams win super bowls.

    CB, ILB, OG/OT, and RB are all targets I imagine. DE still possible if Adebewore is there.

    We have 66 players under contract. Looks like we will wind up with 5 draft picks, bringing us to 71. I assume we will sign another few players in post-draft free agency, bringing us to 74. That would leave up to 16 spots left for UDFA.

    Yeah there are a bunch of examples league wide also. I just don’t trust scouting reports and draft grades anymore. We were praised for getting YGM in the 2nd a few years back, and he hasn’t shown much of anything. You just never know really

    This is such an idiotic comment. First of all - this is a new coaching staff. Second - you act like we’ve never had any success at all and a ton of bad drafts. This team has quite a bit of talent, both drafted and signed via FA. I trust that they know more about football than anyone on this board.

    Different - 30 pounds heavier and runs a 4.45 40. Straight up bully. Seems we wanted to add size. He may not play much this year, but we certainly needed some bigger depth.
