All that back peddling in game 1

Jordan is wasting space in camp - he was awful last year, awful the year before that, and nearly ended Joe Burrows career the year before that. If we cut him, no one else would pick him up.

I’ve never understood the whole “we don’t wanna show anything” argument. Maybe that provides a benefit for the first half of the first game, but after that teams know what type of schemes you run. The majority of teams now use the preseason to practice the very things you want to run in the regular season. It’s fine to sit some players, but at least make an effort to see how your playbook translates on the field in games. By week 2 everyone is gonna know it anyways.

For sure bring him in. Once signed, we will only have 4 backup OL roles left to fill.

So what’s the excuse for our defense then? Cause their offense looked pretty damn good

For a “new era” of football, this was disappointing. We lost every single one on one battle. We lost both lines of scrimmage. We lost gap control. We got gashed in the middle of the field. We ran zero creative route concepts. We couldn’t open running lanes. Etc. im very concerned, at least until Friday night.

The Atlanta Braves scored 21 more runs today than the panthers did points. Let that sink in….

Individual performances were terrible.

Those guys that are getting cut performed on the same suck ass level as the one that will make the team. This was a complete failure by every single player who took the field.

This is the most embarrassing preseason game I can remember in recent years. So much for kicking off the new era with hope and optimism.

Ok time to pack it in. Embarrassed preseason week 1 by backups.
