Was just kidding. Bryce uses that word in most of his press conferences.
-
I see what you did there
-
We all knew this, but here’s some stats to back it up. The OL did a great job giving Bryce time, but our WRs had very little separation.
-
Seems like week 1 injuries get more and more common the less players play in the preseason.
-
Read down a couple posts, I posted the time stamp and what he said. I included the word “hopefully.”
-
Yeah , the difference was turnovers. We moved the ball better, just can’t have 3 turnovers and expect to win.
-
At 33:40 or so - hopefully we get Jaycee back quick. Seemed like he wasn’t overly concerned about anything long term
-
When talking about the CBs play, he said he’s looking forward to getting Jaycee back quick, but has confidence in Hill and others
-
Nah he said Jaycee should be back quick
-
Liked to hear that we actually called several deep shot plays, that had to be checked out of due to blitzes or coverage. Frank did say it is unacceptable to have no completions of 20+ or 40+ yards.
-
Lol likely so
-
He averaged like 5 YPC last season. He’s a good RB. I think a lot of fans just didn’t like him because we drafted him based on what Rhule’s wife said lol.
-
Both RBs played well, and we were committed to the run game most of the game. Playing from behind in the 4th made us move away from it a little bit.
-
The only thing I can say truly excited me was his pocket awareness and ability to extend plays. Everything else is TBD
-
I’ve watched the entire game and he’s played well. That fumble just now (after your post) hurt. But he’s thrown a lot of darts.
-
Lol what?
-
Yeah I don’t see us picking up his option at this point. If he manages to stay healthy next year you simply tag him if you can’t work out a long term deal. If not you let him walk. Our drafting sure has been putrid.
-
3-14 seems realistic at this point unless some serious progress occurs.
-
Brock Purdy won his first game last season. I think what he meant to say is season opener. But yea, there’s been several rookies to win their first game since 2002
-
As I said in another thread, he didn’t make a single NFL caliber throw today to generate excitement. That’s what concerns me most. He had tons of time to throw most of the game. Was everyone covered every play? Not sure…gotta see film of that. My gut tells me he simply didn’t see the plays that were there to be made.
-
Lol - having to pick an incomplete pass as his shining moment is exactly what I mean. Cam went off in his first game. Stroud and AR had some incredible throws today. Young looked like Teddy B. out there. I’m hoping it’s a fluke, but it was a very discouraging performance

The little 5 yard dump offs? His longest throw of the game was 14 yards, and that one was completed 7 yards from the LOS.
