By seeing the rush I think he means finding his check down. When CMC was in there he’d do just that. Without him the last two games, he’s been forcing the ball downfield or taking sacks

I’ve watched Perryman a few times this season and he is awful. He’s constantly getting picked on in the passing game. He has a lot of tackles because he’s giving up a lot of plays. Remember - Even whitehead averaged over 100 tackles for like 5 straight seasons. Tackles are not an indicator of talent.

Look, he’s not wrong. We have invested a lot in this defense. It’s easy to say that great teams should be able to score with 2 minutes left to win the game. But great defenses should also be able to hold a 2 score lead and close the game out. The defense had some huge busted plays in the 4th that were unacceptable. And spare me the “they were tired” crap. Panthers won the time of possession by a long shot (34 min to 26 min). The eagles defense spent 8 more minutes on the field then our defense and they managed to close it out when it mattered.

This - I mentioned when he hired Fitz that my one concern was how that organization missed on the OL over and over again. Hope that isn’t a trend that continues here.

His pooch punt hit on the 3 yard line. Just got an unlucky bounce into the end zone. He’s a place kicker not a punter. I though he hit a good ball that bounced the wrong way
