DE is a need for sure - IF we don't land Watson and can manage to sign a LG or LT (moving BC to whichever spot we have open), then taking a DE makes perfect sense.

He did well last year at LG - I imagine we would be interested especially if the plan is to play BC at LT. The fact that he has experience at both T and G is also a huge plus.

They had to - today at 3:00 pm another 20 million in voidable year dead money hits their books. Most of that is Armsteads. I dont see Armstead giving up that guaranteed money as part of a new extension, meaning even if they resign him they’ll eat another 5-10 million on top of that this year and the rest in future years. plus - what the heck are they going to do with Hill’s contract? I just don’t get it

Yep - I don’t trust a thing the media reports simply because of this. They don’t want Watson here because it’s not sexy enough. So they will report anything and everything to the contrary
