  1. David Newton is pretty bad too - had to unfollow him on Twitter because of his Young bashing.
  2. In all fairness the Manning led Colts had to deal with Tom Brady and the Pats during his tenure. Imagine having one of the greatest QBs of all time only to watch him have to play the greatest QB of all time in the AFC playoffs every year.
  3. I had the first overall pick in my league and went with CMC over Taylor. I was laughed out if the draft room. A few months later CMC carried me to the fantasy title. Meanwhile the guy with pick 2 and Taylor finished near the bottom of the league.
  4. According to ESPN, he’s being shopped as he wants a new deal. Not sure what kind of money he wants or if we can afford him, but he’s 28 and coming off a 10.5 sack season as a 3-4 OLB. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38094491
  5. He couldn’t even win a title coaching his sons pee wee football team. I don’t think there is any one coach I hate more than Payton. Hoping he goes 0-17 this season.
  6. Agreed. And Penny is always hurt. He’s started 11 games in 5 seasons. Gainwell is still on his rookie deal, and is probably their best RB on the roster. Sanders was 100% worth the modest contract we gave him.
  7. I don’t think so. We went out and aggressively signed a good RB, a good TE, 2 good WRs, and drafted another WR pretty high. The team did a good job surrounding him with help. The OL is already in good shape.
  8. He didn’t have health issues last year - he put his potential nfl career ahead of his team. He flat out refused to play most games. I’m an App alumni, donor, and ticket holder…most of us die hard fans spent the season pissed at him.
  9. I admit I was one for a while, but mainly because of the cap issues Hurney put us in and Gettlemans work to get us out of some of that. But he proved to be more of a detriment to the team than he was an asset.
  10. None of the 1st round QBs have signed yet. I assume negotiations about offset language, which is common. It will get done soon.
  11. Peppers is HOF eligible next year, so I’m sure he is one of the two. The other? I’d say Moose. After those 2, you can move on the more recent players (Davis, Luke, Greg, Cam, etc)
  12. He’s not bigger - he’s just wearing a Hanes Beefy T
  13. I don’t buy any narrative the media pushes. They are almost always wrong.
  14. Well Sam Howell only had 169 passing yards and 1 TD his entire rookie year. Sure, he wasn’t the starter, but that doesn’t appear to matter to you when considering stats.
  15. Not to mention that Hurst has been buried behind Uzomah, Kyle Pitts, and Mark Andrews. Despite playing backup to those guys, he still managed 1700 yards and 14 touchdowns. He’s done exactly what every team has asked him to do. Side note - nearly half his catches have gone for 1st downs. Not bad for a backup.
  16. Yeah, but Hurst didn’t even start his rookie year. He was a late first rounder who has contributed nicely so far in his young career. Only a handful of tight ends put up WR type numbers. He is def not a certifiable bust. That’s just plain ignorant to claim.
  17. Tight end usage varies so much team to team. Olsen had similar numbers after 4 years in Chicago. The rest is history.
  18. I’d say Lowes, Duke Energy, and American Airlines would be possible choices. Lowes has increased their sponsorship stakes at BOA in recent years, so I’d say they would be a front runner.
