I’m looking for us to look like a football team for once

Only 7 OL makes me nervous. But I get that it’s the likely decision since Corbett will make 8 when healthy.

I didn’t say folks are going all out, but I’ve watched a lot of preseason games, and just about every team is running a nice mix of plays, countering blitzes with screens, taking deep shots often, and showing a good amount of creativity. They’re also blitzing a lot and disguising coverages at the line. You want to see if the schemes you will run in the season are effective at all during preseason. If nothing else, let your guys get reps doing what they’ll be asked to do week 1. We aren’t doing any of that. I could care less about winning. But I would like us to look like we are trying to play competent football.

Am I the only one Concerned by Reich’s comment of not really knowing what kind of team we are until the regular season? Hey Frank, maybe that’s because we are the only team in the NFL not playing actual football during the preseason.

Just curious, did Reich change his philosophy as a coach? Because in his first year as HC in Indy, he went 3-1 and turned his starters loose in the preseason. He then went on to a damn good season. He said in his week 1 presser that he always approaches preseason the way he is this time around. So he’s either lying, or our team Is just that bad

Yeah I understand that. But it wasn’t like Jones sat back there for 8 seconds while guys played backyard ball to get open. He unloaded after 2-3 seconds and hit his guy open every time. It’s worrisome that our back 7 can’t cover a guy for more than 3 seconds. Even the best pass rush can’t do much to help there

My family members are all Eagles fans. They like Reich, but Pederson called all the plays for them. Reich simply helped with play design and installs. Obviously the Eagles never missed a beat when Reich left. We are in trouble if Reich calls the plays for us. His track record when doing so isn’t good

Besides Waller, what giants receiver or RB who played against our starters is considered an above average player?

Horn said after the game the defense only ran 2 plays. Maybe that’s true, but still, our guys are constantly losing one on one battles against subpar players.
