    The fact that we are the only NFL team who hasn’t allowed an opening drive touchdown is proof we have talent and a decent opening drive game plan. The fact that teams score at will after that first drive is proof we suck at adjustments

    Which is why I said 2/3 rounders we accumulate through trades, which must somehow happen. and tell teams like KC or LA that FA doesn’t work along the OL. They might disagree with your assessment. The Oher signing was also huge for us and contributed to Cams MVP season. We just have to learn you can’t find bargains on the OL. You have to pony up the big bucks

    uhhh - did you even read my post? I clearly said build the OL through FA and the draft.

    It’s past time for us to draft a QB in round 1. Keep Cam and/or Sam around as our mediocre QB 1/2 until the rookie is ready. Address OL through FA and any 2/3 round picks we can accumulate via trades

    I laughed so hard at this…but your comment is spot on. Cam will not command a big contract at this point. 5 million a season should do it, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s fine with that.
