I was pissed when we drafted Kuechly. Not at all ashamed to say I'm glad I was absolutely wrong on that one.

I don't think anyone but Jeff Bridges could ever be the dude.

Fingers crossed. I just tried out this new Moka coffee contraption my wife bought. Definitely won't be sleeping now.

I hope Hardy doesn't bow down to this joke of a league. I've accepted he won't be playing with us, but he shouldn't have to accept a damn thing considering he was only supposed to be put on the list until his case came to a resolution. Well, it came to a resolution and they are still dicking him around and it's not right.

Interesting that he almost died in a car wreck leaving the team facilities doing team-related poo, and yet going to a club is what people focus on and say he should stay home. Newsflash people. People die everyday going out or staying in or hanging out or reading books or driving to go get a pizza for your family or going to the bank to cash a check or...

In fairness, it's easier to claim another team as idiots from the outside looking in due to name recognition. There are many, many people out there who to this day think we are stupid for releasing Smitty as if he was going to put up huge numbers here. I admittedly don't watch a lot of Texans games, but I'm sure their AJ situation was/is similar to our SS situation.

Whatever happened to him? I liked Dimbee. He was a rabble rouser.

You sound just like my wife Lola. She has a problem with understanding that just because she is a super good, caring, thoughtful friend that automatically it will be reciprocated by others. I try and tell her that her friends often aren't built like she is and she needs to accept them with their flaws or just move on. She's working on it but she takes everything so personally I don't think she knows how to not care about things.

Panthers Final Decision On Hardy : No Thanks
Montsta replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well this gives me the sads but I gave up hope maybe two months back anyway so oh well. -
Hardy was franchised last year for roughly $13.5MM Whatever deal he signs as a free agent will likely pay home in the $7MM-$9MM range his first year. So if he does get suspended this next season it will come at a cost of roughly $400,000-$550,000 per game instead of a cost of $850,000 per game that it would have cost him this year. Hardy's financial people know this and that is why it was smart for him to go on the Guantanamo Bay list and keep getting paid. Now he'll sign a deal at half the annual salary in year one, get suspended two games for $800,000 total and make out like a bandit. The math isn't difficult to see why he did what he did.
-
I fully understand that part and you are absolutely right. My issue is this exempt list is the Guantanamo Bay of the NFL. You get put on it for a year with no hint of a resolution until the trial ends, then his case is dismissed completely and still no resolution and now they say he can't come off before being punished. They need to take him off the fuging black hole abyss that is the exempt list so they can dish out an appropriate punishment so teams know what they are getting from Greg Hardy the free agent. This whole thing is completely bogus man.
-
I understand a 17 game paid suspension doesn't count as punishment in the NFL world. But this exempt list is the fuging Guantanamo Bay of the NFL. No resolution to any problems just keep the poo quiet. They need to reinstate this man so they can dish out a punishment so any team bidding on his services knows what they are getting. Also Igo called this 6 months ago.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/02/26/nfl-on-greg-hardy-he-cant-be-reinstated-because-he-has-yet-to-be-disciplined/ I'm sick of Greg Hardy threads as well, but this is bullshit. The NFL is just mad because Hardy's legal team won't give them the transcripts of the bullshit bench trial that they paid to have done themselves. fug you NFL.

WTF is this about a Dez Bryant video worse than Ray Rice's?
Montsta replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/02/26/nfl-media-releases-2011-wal-mart-incident-report-involving-dez-bryant/ Annnnnnnd it starts. Looks like someone called the cops to report a woman being dragged from one car to another, but Dez and his friends all said it was someone else doing the dragging. Because of the media's hyperbolic irresponsible reporting of the Greg Hardy case, I'm gonna give Dez the benefit of the doubt until a video pops up. But these media types are relentless so if a video does in fact exist, Dez is fuged. -
Mike Tolbert Attended DeAngelos Moms Funeral
Montsta replied to NJPanthers12's topic in Carolina Panthers
Does anyone know if DW went to Jon Richardson's funeral in 2013 or if he was in the hospital waiting room for Jerry's heart transplant surgery in 2009? -
If the meeting went well could explain Byron Bell's social media farewell. If the club had a good inclination that they had a nice Target replacement they could have told Bell it's been real but find a job some place else.

D Will says Panthers didn't reach out to him when his mother died
Montsta replied to QCkilla's topic in Carolina Panthers
No one is blaming DeAngelo. You read what the media produces because you are basic. Nobody blames you but that's reality. Deangelo got upset about things but ask him if he was at Jerry Richardsons waiting room when he got his fuging heart removed. Hint: no he wasn't. -
And I wear a women's size 7 narrow. What does that mean?

D Will says Panthers didn't reach out to him when his mother died
Montsta replied to QCkilla's topic in Carolina Panthers
The fact that the only guy that came was a guy who was suspended and sitting at home could be telling. I mean, strictly from a logistical point of view. If it was in Arkansas and on a film session or practice day or something I don't know. Does anyone know when exactly it was held and how the corresponds to the team schedule? -

Montsta replied to QCkilla's topic in Carolina Panthers
Much like I said after the SS release debacle, learning and improving is what matters. DG learned from the Smitty release and now treads lightly when talking about potential cuts. If they learned from a perceived mistake with the passing of deangelo's mother then good for them. -

They went to CJ's grandmothers funeral, and during the whole Deangelo Twitter exchange yesterday CJ tweeted the Kermit it's none of my business meme. I think CJ is perfectly happy with the organization and how they handled the passing of his grandmother.
