Because he is a 5’ 3” quarterback with a noodle arm and far, FAR below average processing and decision-making ability. Like imagine today you get a call to go into a UFC fight tomorrow. If Jamarcus Russell drank two bottles of syrup to the face prior to the first snap, he would still make better decisions than Tyrion Young. One could argue that a loss today is better than the embarrassment that will come from the 49ers in a playoff game. The Panthers might lose by 100 points.

Can someone explain to me why our players get buttfuged by the Bucs players and then jaw with them like they did something and then get 15 yards added to the play and then on the next play get buttfuged again and their guy is left WIDE open and only isn’t a touchdown because Baker missed it. Did you watch MNF yesterday? They mentioned like 3 times how much better it would be for a 5 seed to go to #4 Carolina than to be a 6 seed and play Rams/Seattle/Anyone Else… Panthers can go toe to toe with anybody in the NFL but they don’t have the talent to actually win. They don’t scare anyone in the playoffs unfortunately.

I would say TO and Moss for sure are head and shoulders (pardon the short pun) better than Smitty. Smitty is more in line with Andre Johnson, Chad Ochocinco, and Larry Fitzgerald talent moreso than Moss or TO.

TLDR Version of today’s game: -Bryce played like Bryce but had a beautiful dime to Coker for a TD -Refs really, REALLY like flags -Several players and coaches made really stupid decisions at the worst possible time which cost us the game it was every bit a team effort of suck in this loss -It’s a blessing in disguise because this team would be absolutely EMBARRASSED on a national stage playoff game like some may quit football over it. So consider them lucky they won’t make the playoffs now.

The defense played fairly well until they poo the bed. The PF on Ransom was mind-boggling. Great play call by the Saints, their coaching staff outcoached ours in every conceivable way. Doing a weird half ass play with Chubba instead of Bryce getting 1/4” for the first I knew we were done immediately.
